A friendly family restaurant -- busy and popular. And, it has a sushi conveyor belt! That's fun. The sushi options on the belt were somewhat limited. We were slow learners but did manage to figure out ordering from the menu, which is on a tablet at the table. The food was fine but not memorable. The servers, though, really went out of their way to be helpful to a couple of foreigners. (Thank goodness for Google Translate!)

This is my family's favorite sushi restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service friendly and efficient. My only complaint is the prices have risen quite a bit lately. Other than that, totally recommend.

I visited 'Totoyamichi Kodaira Ogawa' for a late lunch. I had 9 plates in total, and every one was truly delicious, making for a very satisfying lunch. The nigiri here is slightly small, but the balance between the moist, cohesive sushi rice and the topping is exquisite; their unity in the mouth is like a work of art. Especially noteworthy was the recommended 'live hamo nigiri from the Seto Inland Sea.' It had substantial volume and springiness, with ume flesh adding an irresistible accent—superb. The 'kohada' topping was slightly larger, with excellent seasoning penetration and bite. Then the unexpected standout was the 'squid.' The moist sushi rice and topping harmonized beautifully, and this exquisite balance surprised me. You can feel the care put into each individual item. A restaurant I can highly recommend.

Visited 2 days in a row. On day 2, the toppings had gotten skimpy, so I added swordfish miso soup.
