I had pho at lunchtime The interior was quiet, but felt a little dark You order and pay at the register as soon as you arrive; it's a pay-in-advance restaurant The fresh spring roll that came separately with the pho set was substantial in size. Dipping it in dressing was a new experience and tasted delicious The herb-covered pho was also a fairly generous portion and delicious The owner was kind and easygoing too, which was nice

A welcome Vietnamese restaurant with gentle flavors in Ogawa, where there aren't many eateries. You can choose either eat-in or takeaway. The interior is compact, with around 2 tables and about 3 individual seats. I've had khao man gai, gapao, banh mi, pad thai, fresh spring rolls, and more; all were delicious, with mild flavors suited to Japanese tastes. The pad thai was particularly memorable because it contained something like dried shrimp and had a Japanese-style flavor. The eat-in lunch set comes with a fresh spring roll, which feels like good value.

I knew they used to have a shop in Kumegawa, but despite thinking for years that I should visit soon, it disappeared, which I found disappointing. Then they reopened in Ogawa! Ever since I saw news about redevelopment in front of the station before the pandemic, the townscape hasn't changed at all, and I've worried the town might just keep losing people. Anyway, I went. Both the seasoning and presentation felt very carefully done. The mayonnaise flavor of the fresh spring roll dipping sauce? surprised me, and I quickly ate it saying, delicious, delicious. Was the banh mi filling duck? It looked colorful and had more filling than I expected, so it was substantial. It's the kind of flavor so-called "girls" like. But even I, a man getting on in years, found it delicious. The shop wasn't run by East Asian people; I thought perhaps it was run by a fairly experienced married couple. I visited just before 1 in the afternoon on Sunday, and unfortunately there were no other customers (there aren't many people walking around Ogawa to begin with), but I hope it becomes established in the town.

An ethnic eatery The interior is compact, with a counter and tables Prepared side dishes are displayed for sale in a glass case The menu has classic Thai dishes I ordered a gapao lunch and iced oolong tea to start It comes with a fresh spring roll, pudding for dessert, and soup The fresh spring roll was also fairly substantial, so it was tasty and left me full. Wi-Fi is available, and there are outlets with USB ports too.
