I have eaten here several times on my visits to Japan. Good food, great service and reasonable prices.

View on GoogleRemembering how delicious a hamburg steak I'd eaten ages ago was, I decided to visit this restaurant. It was Saturday dinner time and I had no reservation, but got in smoothly. We ordered the hamburg steak we'd come for with the Western-style set and Japanese-style set. And some kimchi too. This kimchi was delicious. Not too sweet or too spicy. Everything was just right. Before long, the hamburg steak sets arrived. They looked delicious. I had steak sauce. My wife had demi-glace. The corn soup in the Western-style set. And the tonjiru in the Japanese-style set were delicious too. Of course, the hamburg steak was satisfyingly meaty and dependable. And apparently the rice is all-you-can-eat. That certainly keeps you eating. We enjoyed the meal, refreshing our palates with the pickles on the side. The interior is quite spacious, so it felt like you could get in anytime, but making a reservation might be safer.
View on GoogleUntil now, I'd always used the Koganei branch simply because it was nearby. This time, I learned online that the Uniqlo Suzukicho branch had closed and merged into the Shin-Ome Kaido branch (a new store). It was about 10 minutes away by car, so I stopped by, then visited Mansei on the way home because it's delicious even if it's expensive. I saw that the Napolitan in my favorite hamburg steak and Napolitan combo could be made extra-large for an additional 230円, so that settled it immediately. The Napolitan here has a flavor that touches the hearts of salarymen who lived through Showa's turbulent years, exactly like a Showa-era Western-style restaurant. And everyone's favorite tonjiru has an incredibly strong katsuobushi broth, giving it a traditional fine-dining flavor that's a cut above. It's a flavor that brings tears to a Showa old guy's eyes(^^) Another reason I liked this branch was that the young woman who served us was friendly and had a lovely smile😍 The final tea🍵 was thoughtful too and put me at ease. The whole restaurant was lively and the atmosphere was completely different. I'll come again(^^)
