I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork (酢豚) set meal. It was affordable but tasteless. The lady staff could have been nicer and friendly. The male staff (probably the son of the lady staff owner) was hardworking but started to get a bit awkward when he saw me taking photos of the restaurant and he might probably have thought I was taking a picture of him but no, actually. That made the atmosphere and my dining experience awkward. In all fairness, their soup and Mabo Tofu (麻婆豆腐) with the set meal was spicy and very delicious!

It was my first visit, and it was really delicious! The ramen was thickened too, my friend's fried rice was glossy, and the pork rice bowl was delicious as well! I'd like to come again! Please note that you can only use a card for purchases of 2000円 or more. 3rd visit Their shoyu ramen really is the best at 650円! The 排骨飯 with a large portion of rice was delicious! I was full.

2026.2.11 I stopped by on my way back from an event at FC Tokyo Kodaira Ground. It feels like the quintessential neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The staff are Chinese… so perhaps I can enjoy authentic Chinese food? My expectations grew. Besides tables, there are about 3 private rooms with raised floors, making it easy for families to dine here too. They have plenty of lunch specials, with various sets and set meals for around 880円. I ordered draft beer, stir-fried cabbage and pork, stir-fried shrimp and bamboo shoots with cashews, shrimp tofu-skin spring rolls, and ramen to finish. The stir-fried bean sprouts and pork had a soy-sauce flavor with what seemed like a little oyster sauce, and consisted of thin strips of pork loin, wood ear mushrooms, and bean sprouts. This was delicious. Meanwhile, the stir-fried shrimp and bamboo shoots with cashews had a salt-based flavor, with a good bone-stock flavor, and was delicious too. The shrimp tofu-skin spring rolls were fried crispy and a little hard, but the filling felt slightly sparse. They tasted delicious. The ramen to finish was standard shoyu ramen. The sort of ramen you crave after drinking. The toppings were pork-loin chashu, leafy greens (this part felt Chinese), menma, and a boiled egg (half), with thin noodles. The soup was a simple one made with standard soy sauce and bone stock, but it was well balanced, nostalgic, and delicious. The south exit of Kodaira Station is fairly lively, but although the north exit has a reasonable number of izakaya, there aren't many shops, and especially few places for daytime drinks or lunch. I hope neighborhood Chinese restaurants like this keep going.

I had something to do in Kodaira and stopped by on the way back. I ordered 楽々3点セット. I chose fried rice, steamed chicken, and beer. Everything was delicious. The menu was extensive too, so I added gyoza and a highball. Neighborhood Chinese restaurants are great.
