A bowl starring the depth of miso and a seared aroma I ordered the miso chashu-men. The miso aroma that rises the moment the bowl arrives is powerful; the soup is deep and heavy-bodied, combining Hokkaido-style richness with the sweetness of stir-fried vegetables. It's not overly viscous, and a moderate layer of oil keeps it rich while still letting you keep sipping. The chashu stands out with its fragrant charred edges, holding its own against the thick miso, and when dipped into the soup its fat melts and the umami spreads. The noodles are medium-thick, curly, and deeply yellow, picking up the miso soup well, the kind where the sweetness of the wheat comes back the more you chew. The crunch of the green onions and bean sprouts balances out the overall heaviness, making it a bowl you can work through at a good pace to the very end.

Visited Saturday around 12:00. The parking lot was full. The line went outside. Got seated after about 15 minutes. Sapporo miso ramen 950 yen Lunch set (4 gyoza + half rice) 150 yen So freaking good! Bean sprouts stir-fried crisp over high heat, fragrant with sesame oil. Miso that's not too heavy, with some sweetness. Curly noodles shipped straight from Hokkaido (probably). Big, melt-in-your-mouth chashu. All of it is the best! Plus, gyoza + half rice for 150 yen in the lunch set is such a steal‼️ This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me👍 No wonder it's a popular place that's been around for at least 30+ years.

Until 3 PM there's a lunch set for an extra 150 yen, which is a good deal. I ordered the Miso Dekkaido It was filling and delicious

Sapporo miso ramen 900 yen, curly medium-thick noodles of the type that doesn't absorb much soup. The sweet-salty miso soup is pretty good. However, the butter and corn toppings are 150 yen each Compared with miso ramen at competing shops, it was a standard ramen with nothing particularly special

Visited after asking a local driver. From the shop name 「Hokkaido Ramen」 I assumed it was a miso specialist, but it turns out you can also get other flavors like 「Asahikawa soy sauce ramen」, 「Hakodate salt ramen」, and 「tonkotsu tsukemen」. Since it was my first time at this shop, I followed the top-left-button rule of the ticket machine and ordered the 「Sapporo miso ramen」. The soup had the added umami of stir-fried vegetables, with yellow, medium-thick curly noodles from 「Kobayashi Seimen」 — a classic miso ramen. By the way, just as I started eating, customers kept coming in one after another, and I noticed everyone was ordering the lunch set; when I took a closer look at the POP signs in the shop, the lunch set comes with 4 gyoza and a small rice for just +150 yen, super cheap. I see — with that, even a bowl I thought was a little light on volume becomes satisfying. Next time I'll get a different item as a set.
