LOVE this coffee shop! Excellent service; excellent atmosphere; and very close to the Akitsu station.
View on GoogleI tried lots of items on the menu, but the berry tart and hazelnut latte are the best!! For a sweet tooth like me… It's easy to spend time alone here—a really comfortable space. When it seemed there weren't many customers, I'd spend leisurely time reading a book. When the record finished, the staff would switch to another record, and every time I looked forward to finding out what song would play next. I really loved those moments. For a while going to this café was one of the joys of my life, so I'm really sad that I've left the area and can't go anymore. I want to go again.
View on GoogleIt's the kind of place where you order and pay first, then take a seat. I came in wanting a scone, but since it was getting close to evening, the sweets were sold out… too bad. I ordered a caffè latte. Cafés around the station are pretty much all crowded and hard to relax in, but the calm atmosphere here was really nice. And the caffè latte they brought over was so delicious! Next time I'd like to come earlier and try other items on the menu.
View on Google2 minutes' walk from Akitsu Station South Exit. A place with a relaxed atmosphere and jazz playing on records. The coffee, tea, and herbal teas are all a lineup carefully chosen by the owner, apparently, and very delicious. They also have light meals and sweets. It's not a very big place, but there's Wi-Fi, and some people are writing or working. Since it's open from 12 noon to 7 pm, some people may never have seen it open? I hear they sometimes have live jazz too.
View on GoogleThe area between Akitsu and Shin-Akitsu is pretty crowded and cluttered, so I usually just get on the train without stopping anywhere, but today it was hot and I was thirsty, so I searched for a café. I found a place that looked nice and dropped in. Once inside, there was none of Akitsu's usual noisy vibe at all—a very calm atmosphere. Jazz was playing inside, and there was a wide variety of seating: sofa seats, table seats, and counter seats. I checked my location about 5 or 6 times to see if this was really Akitsu. It was Akitsu. Once in, I ordered a cream soda and a blueberry chocolate tart. What shocked me was how incredibly delicious the vanilla ice cream on the cream soda was! I think once you've had this ice cream you won't be able to eat Su○er Cu○ anymore. The chocolate tart was also loaded with an absurd amount of blueberries—insanely good value. I thought I'd like to make it not my home sauna, but my home café.
