Located about an 8-minute walk from both Higashi-Jujo Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line and Oji-Kamiya Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. To serve fresh seafood bought at the market that day, some menu items change daily. We also sometimes serve fish caught by the owner personally. Enjoy set meals at lunch, and seafood dishes with drinks at night. We update the day's menu on Instagram too, so please be sure to check it out.

Came here 3 hours after moving in. I bet everything here is delicious. Ordered country-style simmered taro and kisu tempura. Deliberately skipped the sashimi and grilled or simmered fish. The simmered taro had strong seasoning, so good it makes you keep drinking. The kisu tempura has such strong umami you don't even need to dip it in mentsuyu. Grateful I got to eat here on the very day I moved to Higashi-Jujo.

You can eat truly delicious fish dishes here🐟 The master picks out and buys the best fish of the moment first thing in the morning at Toyosu Market, and you can eat it at a reasonable price! Personally, - marbled whale meat - top-quality sardine sashimi were so delicious they moved me. (They're not always available) You can eat fish caught by the master and the regulars. The Tokyo Bay cutlassfish in particular is so exquisite it'll change your perspective, so if it's on the menu, give it a try. The master has a craftsman's temperament and sometimes barks instructions at the staff, but I feel it shows how seriously they take the food and the customers.

Our first visit. We're a married couple in our 40s. It's a homey, family-run place. The first thing you see when you walk in is a row of fishing rods. Apparently they're handmade! And a big fish tank! About 20 seats? It felt spacious. Among the wide range of menu items, I could really feel their passion for fresh fish. It was my first time eating ishigakidai sashimi. The hoya was also refined and very delicious. I'd love to go again^^ Ate too much!

For lunch I had the extra-large grilled salted mackerel set. They said I could switch the rice to tai-meshi (sea bream rice) for +150円, so I did. True to the name "extra-large," the fillet was big and thick. The skin was grilled until crispy and was very fragrant. The flavor was very salty, to the point that I felt a stinging saltiness the moment it touched my tongue. Also, whether it was overgrilled or oversalted, it was a little dry. I thought the tai-meshi's aroma was a bit weak, but it had a gentle flavor and was very delicious. Because the mackerel was so salty, it seemed to bring out the umami of the tai-meshi. The miso soup was full of chunky fish trimmings. The fish's umami and oil had seeped out nicely, and it was very delicious. Was the oden in the small side bowl something premade and heated in the microwave? It didn't seem heated enough; it was cold and not very good. This time it came to over 1000円 because I switched to tai-meshi, but getting change back from 1000円 if you don't switch is great value for money. However, there were a few things besides the food that bothered me. ・The owner started scolding a staff member loud enough for us to hear. ・There were cigarettes in a visible spot in the kitchen. ・When the owner had free time, they started blasting music from their smartphone. etc. Well, if you think of it as a place to go casually, it's probably not a problem. Visited right after opening on a weekday. There were no other customers yet, but by around 12:00, 60-70% of the seats were filled. My impression was there were more groups than solo diners. The shop accepts PayPay and credit cards, but note that only cash is accepted at lunchtime. I'd like to come again if I get the chance. Thank you for the meal.

A hidden gem. If you want to eat fresh fish in Higashi-Jujo, this is the place. You can eat lively seafood carefully sourced by the owner. They prepare it straight from the fish tank, so it's incredibly fresh—the head and tail of the sashimi are still moving! I'd never eaten such a big wild oyster before, so I was moved. The ankimo is apparently homemade too; it had a mellow sweetness and was delicious. Places where you can eat authentic fish dishes at this price are rare. The owner knows so much about fish that I always ask for recommendations, and they tell me all sorts of things—you can really feel their love of fish. Update 5/6 Today the hokkigai was exquisite again! It's the first time I've had a clam this sweet with such great texture. The rare onikasago hire-zake, and crab zosui to finish. The broth soaks right in~. Thank you for the fresh fish every time♪ I'll drop by again next time I'm in Tokyo😊 Addendum 12/17 This time I had makubu, a little-known luxury fish from Okinawa✨ It's sweet even without soy sauce, wasabi, or anything! Apparently the taisho personally pioneered a supply route all the way to Okinawa—it was my first time eating it😳 It's always fun because I get to discover delicious fish I'd never known♪ Addendum 6/26 The sashimi was super delicious again today, but the limited tuna steak😍 Apparently the taisho caught the tuna personally😳 The cooking was perfect, it just melts✨ and since the fat is fish fat, it's high quality✨ I might like this more than beef✨ The rock oysters were also a size you can only find here! I come every single time I'm in Tokyo😂 Thank you for the meal!
