Around 12 on a weekday, the 'Lunch 900円' sign outside caught my eye, and I visited for lunch for the first time. The restaurant wasn't too crowded and had a calm atmosphere. That day's lunch was a fixed menu: 'Napolitan.' I looked at the other menu items too, but didn't know what was good, so I ordered the lunch Napolitan in a large portion. Honestly, it was only after ordering that I remembered I wasn't really fond of Napolitan…… but that impression was completely overturned. First, I was surprised by the abundance of ingredients and the glossy appearance of the Napolitan when it arrived. Then, on taking a bite, there was depth to the sweetness, the ketchup flavor wasn't overpowering, and it tasted unlike any Napolitan I'd eaten before. The eggplant, pork, onion, and green pepper each showed their own character, making it a fantastic plate. It also paired wonderfully with the iced coffee served alongside it; the exquisite match between the Napolitan's sweetness and the bitterness left an impression too. The quality was unbelievable at this price (large portion 1,200円). I'm curious about the other dishes too, so I'd like to visit again soon.

An Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor along the street reached by walking through LaLa Garden from Akabane Station and turning left at the Doutor corner. Up a narrow spiral staircase to the 2nd floor, the interior stretches toward the back, with tables arranged in an L shape and counter seats to the right in front of the kitchen. Founded in 1997, this homey restaurant's name, 'Bieni Bieni,' apparently means 'come, come' in Italian. This lively local restaurant is loved in Akabane, with many regulars and families with children visiting too. The interior is always clean. They keep cooking while constantly thinking about their customers and Italian cuisine, gradually improving their recipes. I feel a little sheepish that this Google comment also serves as a message of support rather than just a food review. I hope this comment gives 'Bieni Bieni' even a little support. I look forward to continuing our relationship.

Absolutely delicious! There's plenty of variety and lots of toppings, so you can eat something just the way you like it!

I went in thinking I'd have pasta for lunch on a day off, but it was a place where drunken regulars were slurring away in the middle of the day. You could call it homey if you wanted to be kind, but if I'd known, I definitely wouldn't have gone in. The food was ordinary too; the only saving grace was the friendly lady running the place.

The atmosphere was more like a homey izakaya than an Italian restaurant💁‍♀️ There's a charismatic lady running the place, happily chatting with customers. The pasta was delicious, but the salad for an extra 100円 tasted like 'dressing!' so personally I wouldn't call it a must🙇‍♂️ If you don't drink alcohol, it comes to a little under 1000円 per person, so I think it's very good value🙆‍♀️
