I want unagi! The 3 of us, parents and child, were passing by, and the historic-looking building drew us in The interior evokes the Showa era and feels relaxing Ordered tokujo unaju(4,800円) Such reasonable prices! Our son is treating us this time😆 After waiting about 15 minutes, it arrived packed with fluffy Kanto-style kabayaki‼️ Even without chewing, it falls apart and melts in your mouth😋 The kimosui was delicious too😊 Actually, I prefer Kansai-style unagi, with crisp, fragrant skin and fat that oozes out〜 but Kanto-style is delicious too😋 Kansai-style and Kanto-style are completely different I felt the unagi here was high-level for Kanto-style I was getting excited because our son was treating us, and a staff member took a commemorative photo for us😆 Taste, atmosphere, and service all◎ Thank you for the meal😋
View on GoogleFirst visited Unagiku with my wife back when we were not yet married — it was a wonderful experience. The place is run by a friendly Japanese uncle, and it served one of the best unagi I’ve ever had. Last year, I tried to revisit but found out the uncle was injured and the shop was closed. Visited again this year — glad to see it open once more. The vibe and food are still as amazing as before. The first time I visited with my wife was before we were married. It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is run by a Japanese owner, and the unagi was one of the most delicious I have ever eaten. I tried to visit again last year, but the owner was injured and the restaurant was temporarily closed. When I visited again this year, I was able to enjoy the same lovely atmosphere and delicious unagi.

View on GoogleIt's a few minutes from the east exit of Komagome Station When I passed the restaurant on a client visit, I felt like eating unagi, so I stopped by on my way back😊 Judging by the prices, it seemed like good value, so I ordered 「松重」 with a large serving of rice✌️ It came with one fairly large skewer of unagi, so perhaps that's one whole eel😊 The kabayaki is steamed, so it's soft, and the sauce isn't too sweet and has a clean taste👌 As for the amount of sauce, perhaps because I ordered extra rice, I thought it would have been better with a little more poured on👍 What disappointed me, though, was the surprisingly noticeable smell of cigarettes😣 ※For coronavirus precautions, there was sanitizer at the entrance, and table partitions were installed at every seat.
