A coffee shop in the Jujo Ginza shopping street serving cloth-filtered coffee roasted by the owner, classic coffee-shop dishes like Napolitan, and sweets!! I ordered breakfast Set A (700円) with the blend🍴 It comes with naturally leavened toast, salad, and an onsen egg. The blend was aromatic with a roasted fragrance and felt fairly light😊

The atmosphere is lovely, and you can really relax. There aren't too many seats, and many visitors were regulars or people on their own. You can also look out over the shopping street from the window seats. The food portions are just right, not excessive, so you can feel comfortably satisfied without getting too full. Of course, it tasted delicious.

梅の木 is about a 2〜3-minute walk from the entrance to the Jujo Ginza shopping street. It's been around since I was in elementary school. Despite its long history, it also offers modern menu items and is loved by people of all ages. Today, unexpectedly, I visited with a friend as part of a café-hopping outing. I ordered soda water (mistaking it for plain sparkling water), while my friend ordered the sakuramochi set with black coffee. Our orders arrived about 2〜3 minutes after ordering. The soda water (melon soda) was lightly carbonated with a somewhat stronger melon syrup flavor. It tasted different from regular melon soda, so I could understand calling it soda water! Personally I like strong carbonation, but this was good in its own way! My friend's sakuramochi set was just the right size, and having several drinks to choose from was nice! There are also plenty of lunch dishes, food, desserts, and drinks, making this well-stocked, old-fashioned space very comfortable! It was a little disappointing that the toilet wasn't a Washlet type… but the staff were very thoughtful and repeatedly refilled our cold water without being asked. They were very kind and left a great impression! I think I'll come for lunch next time! If you're curious, definitely stop by!
