Everything we tried was delicious, especially the grilled items which were cooked to perfection. Great flavors at a very reasonable price. The real surprise was the beef offal salad with a sour sauce and egg yolk — it was my first time trying this dish and it truly wowed me. A must-try. Note: Wine and draft beer may not be available, but the lemon sour is a great choice.
View on GoogleVery tasty Yakitori. The staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed as a customer.
View on GoogleDisappointed that the meat sashimi was gone. Can't recommend it for people who want to eat quickly. Of the dishes I ordered all at once, the 2nd took 30 minutes and the 3rd took 40 minutes to come out... hmm... The marinated liver and the super horumon were delicious. The seared harami and kashira weren't to my taste
View on GoogleFirst visit, since a friend said it was a recommended spot. It might be my first time in Higashi-Jujo in a few years too. This place has both pork and chicken—a kind of shop you'd think would exist but rarely does? That's the impression I got. Also, seeing their clean, careful prep work on Instagram made me want to go even more. My impression: the skewers are neatly made, but somehow just ordinary—it's charcoal but the charcoal feel is weak, and the chicken's flavor was weak too, but when you look at the prices, their effort is amazing! Also the side dishes and recommended menu items were delicious. They made the drinks go down even easier. Thanks for the meal.
View on GoogleEvery dish is delicious!! No exaggeration—the skewers, the side dishes, the mixed horumon, everything was delicious!! The shio nikomi is meltingly tender and way too good~~ The chicken thigh skewer is juicy! Of course the mixed horumon is fresh too, and the sauce on it is great. The sagari with egg yolk was tender and amazing~~! For drinks there's the Kinmiya bottle and about 4-6 kinds of sake—I tried them all. Every sake was really delicious! I booked for 5pm on a Saturday, but some items were already sold out even at 5pm. Even so, everything was delicious, so I was very satisfied. Next time I want to come on a weekday right after opening!
