Was delicious, and the price was good. I recommend everyone to try it
View on GoogleTako to Highball Jujo Ginza branch, located midway along the Jujo Ginza shopping street. I used to come here often because there was a staff member I was friendly with, but since the owner changed I haven't been around much lately. This time, since they're taking part in the Jujo Curry War, I ordered the 8-piece curry takoyaki available for takeout. Looks-wise, the takoyaki is covered in lots of curry powder and the curry smell is very strong, living up to the name curry takoyaki. Eating it, the spice of the curry powder is stimulating and tasty. The filling inside the batter felt a little sparse, but in this day and age, 8 pieces for 550 yen is reasonable, which is great! They also have a big menu as a drinking spot, and it seems pretty lively on weekends, which is appealing. I'll come again.
View on GoogleGreat experience. I found it by chance and it was a great find. Even though they don't have the menu in English, I tried translating it with my phone and finally someone came over and advised me on what to order. It was spot on. I ordered the house specialty, which is the classic takoyaki, and they really were among the best I tried on my two trips to Japan. Super creamy and burning hot of course hahaha I also let them recommend a drink, which I found very refreshing.
View on GoogleThe takoyaki was super melty and insanely delicious (〃▽〃) They had chinchirorin for drinks like highballs, so it was a really fun and tasty time♪ The staff were very kind and the service was pleasant and wonderful! Next time I want to conquer every type of takoyaki☆ I also enjoyed the takosen and karupasu served as otoshi!
View on GoogleA perfect place for a quick drink. You can have takoyaki with highballs and other drinks, and it's a nice place where even with kids you can quickly eat and drink. The snacks other than takoyaki, like the beef tendon stew and fried octopus, are delicious too. This day I kept rolling odd numbers in the dice chinchiro and ended up drinking a mega-mug Kaku highball twice, though... The staff are kind and give off a good vibe.
