A takeaway-only sushi shop next to a housing complex. The interior is dim, and the person at the shop seems brusque. I thought I couldn't expect much, but that wasn't the case. Takeaway sushi made me think of Kozo Sushi or Kyotaru, but this is as tasty as a regular sushi restaurant. I ordered Matsu sushi and inari. 'Matsu' basically means top-grade sushi, and I was surprised it was only 1,500円. Opening the lid surprised me even more! Nothing but luxurious toppings. Toro, akami (premium akami?), squid, anago, egg, shrimp, uni, and negitoro hosomaki. The squid and shrimp were large and thick, with a rich flavor. The egg had a gentle sweetness, and the anago had a melting texture. The toro, akami, and negitoro had a clear tuna umami, while their delicate fat melted swiftly on the tongue. As you can probably tell from the photo, the uni was fresh and generously piled on. Uni this fresh at this price is rare. To put it mildly, incredible value! The inari sushi at 400円 was also sweetish and plump, with a flavor that didn't disappoint. I was completely satisfied. Getting sushi of this quality at lunch prices is really impressive. If I feel like sushi for lunch, I'd definitely like to come again!
View on GoogleThere's a range of options, from sashimi bento at budget-friendly prices to carefully prepared luxurious nigiri. Plenty of rolls too. I always end up buying too much. It's takeaway-only, but soy sauce isn't included, so if you plan to eat outside, prepare some before you go. Still, it's delicious even eaten as is without soy sauce!
View on GoogleVery delicious. I use this place fairly often. Since the COVID pandemic, the owner, a true Edokko, has been running it alone, so if you happen to catch him when orders are piling up, you might get an unpleasant response. I'll upload the menu. (The sansai inari I ordered on 2025.3.8 had gone up to 450円. Other prices may have changed too, so check when ordering.)
View on GoogleA takeaway-only sushi shop I'd been curious about for a while. I called and then visited. The taste made me regret not going sooner!!! The toppings are fresh, and you can enjoy delicious sushi from a non-conveyor-belt sushi restaurant at home. This time I chose the Akabane W set and torotaku maki, but there are so many menu items and so many I want to try! There were comments about the person at the shop, but he's just an Edokko craftsman and didn't seem rude at all. I was also touched to find 10円 for the phone call and some nori as a gift included. I'm a huge fan now, so I'll definitely visit often!!!!!
View on GoogleI ordered by phone just after opening and bought it, but the rice was incredibly dry. Maybe they used leftover rice from the day before? That had never happened before, so I haven't gone back since. Also, people call him an Edokko or say he has a craftsman's temperament, but the service is seriously awful. Why should I pay money to have such an unpleasant experience?
