Apparently you can order by smartphone, but I couldn't get it to work. It's nice that there are so many menu options. I was in the mood for anything that went with beer, but the karaage was somehow different from what I'd imagined. The special curry intrigued me until the end, but I'll save it for next time. A slightly unusual restaurant. It's also interesting hearing orders from Rokosu occasionally come through the receiver.

I'm happy with the wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. There are also plenty of individual dishes and snacks, so you can enjoy drinks here during the day or at night. 2025/09/17 For lunch, I had the “Japanese-style hamburg steak set with grated daikon” (1,180 yen including tax). The hamburg steak itself was delicious, of course, but so was the sweet-savory sauce underneath, something like a “Japanese-style demi-glace sauce.” Rather than pouring soy sauce on the grated daikon, I dipped it in this sauce and put it on the hamburg steak. 2025/09/13 For lunch, I had the “katsu curry” (1,300 yen including tax). I considered a large portion (+110 yen), but since it was my first time and I couldn't judge the quantity, I chose regular. Even the regular serving was quite substantial. The curry sauce had a gentle, home-style flavor with a little heat. The pork in the tonkatsu wasn't especially premium, but it was freshly fried, piping hot, and crisp. I enjoyed it.

I came at night because I wanted katsu curry. There seemed to be a mix of people just having dinner and people using it as an izakaya. The counter is spacious, so dining alone is easy too. The katsu curry was delicious, with a fairly thick cutlet. It's also in the same building as a sauna and seems to double as the sauna's kitchen. Ordering is by smartphone, but docomo reception was poor and I struggled to order. People arriving later kept getting their orders in. Docomo users should be aware. Ordering verbally was also fine.

Vegetable tanmen: 990 yen Ordered via QR code. A classic, delicious tanmen. The restaurant has a cafe-like atmosphere??? Thank you for the meal.

Return visit ③ Lunch (had the mapo eggplant set ¥850. 2023.4) The presentation (colors) is a bit sparse, but it's reliably delicious. ================================= Return visit ② Had lunch (grilled mackerel set). (paypay was accepted.) I'm not sure whether the contents are the same, but outside lunchtime the grilled mackerel set costs 100 yen more, so it's quite a discount. I wouldn't call it thick, but you get 1 whole fish with its head. Grilled until the skin is crisp, fatty, and delicious. Still, it didn't feel particularly good value. ================================= Had lunch (pork, bean sprouts, and garlic chives grilled with grated daikon & croquette). A neighborhood diner operated by Sauna Rosco next door. The food arrived in a few minutes. Most food here doesn't feel particularly special, but almost anything you eat is reliably tasty. That said, today's Chinese dish was ordinary. I dislike lunch prices with awkward small change, but since they accept paypay, I can forgive it. Definitely a place I'd like to revisit.
