I went around 9 p.m. on a Sunday, and there was hardly any wait. The staff, both in the kitchen and on the floor, were really kind and friendly. The ramen—the most important part—was excellent. The broth was non-emulsified with a slightly sweet flavor, which I really liked. I ordered the 400g portion, but it was a bit too much for me, so I’ll probably go with 300g or even 200g next time. It was my first time at Fujimaru, and I loved the overall atmosphere.
View on GoogleI came here because of the hype — a 4.2 rating and lots of glowing reviews — but honestly, I don’t get it. Yes, the portions are huge. One bowl could easily feed two grown adults. The staff are friendly, and the cost performance is solid for how much food you get. ( I ordered the pork ramen) But beyond that? The noodles break apart too easily, and the broth is overwhelmingly salty and greasy. There’s no depth or balance to the flavor — just salt and oil. The meat comes in generous amounts, but again, it’s just very salty. If you’re nearby, starving, and just want to fill up on a massive bowl of food without caring too much about flavor, then sure — go for it. But if you’re here for a quality bowl of ramen, I’d look elsewhere.
View on GoogleThis how Ramen should taste! Everything is freshly made from scratch the same day, the attention is very good. The portion is very abundant I went on a week day 30 minutes before opening and there was already a queue, so be aware that you will have to wait (it's always full) but it totally worth it. The meat and handmade noodles are the highlights of the menu
View on GoogleThere is always a queue to get in there so it's good to keep that in mind. On a Thursday I arrived at 5:15 (opens at 6) and was on the first wave of customers. The ramen comes out in batches so even if you are in you may have to wait a while. The ramen is pork-based with plenty of oil, which is not my favorite. Despite this the quality of the pork and the noodles was excellent. The portions are more than generous, I couldn't finish the normal size, so keep that in mind. EDIT: Removing one star because I got food poisoning after eating there.
