As a foreigner, the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. I arrived at the restaurant around noon. There were only 2 tables taken. I sat at the counter bar and ordered the sushi lunch set. The price was only ¥1,000. The location is a bit off from the train station but you can walk there within 15 mins. Overall, I would give 9 out of 10. Just because they don't have the English menu. But still we can communicate without a problem.

A great lunch menu deal: 880 yen for 10 pieces or chirashi-zushi. The restaurant was pretty spacious, with a bar counter and numerous tables. I ordered the nigiri set and it came with soup. Definitely one the more higher quality lunch deals in the area.

First visit around 17:20 on a Sunday. Rehydrated with draft beer, and for snacks ordered shiokara, udo with vinegared miso, and simmered bai-gai whelk. After ordering the tokujo nigiri, I added kohada, mantis shrimp, aji, and akami. You can really tell it's a sushi shop loved by this town.

A delicious sushi restaurant loved by locals Revisited in February 2025. It's gone up to 1000 yen, but it's still an incredible deal ■Went alone for a weekday lunch. When I went in around 13:00, there were 2 people at the counter, 1 at a table, and 1 at another table. The TV was on, with no background music. An oshibori and tea were brought out. There are about 5 tables in the tatami room, so kids could relax too ■Lunch Choose between nigiri sushi 1000 yen or chirashi sushi 1000 yen. I chose the nigiri and it came in about 5 minutes. Happy there were two pieces of tuna! The toppings are thick and you can really taste them ■Toppings Tuna: akami. Cut so there are no sinews, and it's the rich, sticky kind when you take a bite. Seems quite sweet Octopus: a decorative cut, maybe? Cute Squid: scored, and the more I chewed the sweeter it got! Scallop: fresh texture with no fishy smell at all Steamed shrimp: plump, thick, and rich All the other toppings were delicious too, very satisfied! ■Extra Ordered one piece of kohada. Even though it was just one piece, they took my order with a smile. A refreshing vinegar cure that's not too sweet, just my taste! ■Payment Paypay or cash I want to eat more, so I'd be happy if there were something like a 1.5x portion. I'll drop by again!

Reasonably priced, all the fish was delicious, and the basashi was really delicious too The small dishes made with seasonal ingredients were delicious too, and everything was perfect right through to the sushi at the end! The sake selection was to my liking too😊
