Mohinga 840 yen (tax incl.). The menu described it as "fish and bean somen." The flavor of the beans stewed until thick and smooth isn't bad. But the portion is small. If you try to eat anything else, it goes over 1,000 yen. Keeping lunch under 1,000 yen might be tough these days, but I was a bit disappointed. Many of the customers were young Myanmar folks. Maybe I'll try going once more.
View on GoogleWeekday lunch visit. The customers were Asian folks. At lunch, one drink is free. Lunch menu prices are around 1000 yen. There are lots of table seats, so I could relax. Myanmar and Thai food seem to be the main thing, but I didn't have the courage to be adventurous, so I went with khao man gai. I was surprised when something different from the menu photo came out. The menu made it look like there was a whole chicken thigh on top, but it was 3 slices of chicken breast, without even any cilantro. The rice seemed like crushed Thai rice, dry and crumbly. The seasoning was good, but it didn't suit my palate. Maybe the curry dishes, which seem to be the standard, would have been better, but the gap from my expectations…. Is this a sign they don't want me to come again? Except for the menu photos with black backgrounds, the photos feel like they're from somewhere else. I think they should narrow down the lunch menu and raise the quality.
View on GoogleA suggestion for the (Komagome) shop Please prepare the expensive dishes carefully so there are no mistakes. Please take care that the taste doesn't change. I'd like you to pay close attention to the kitchen side and the service side. Just now they mixed up the mala xiang guo and the mala curry when serving them. Putting big chunks of cabbage in the bowl rice isn't okay. (Please take special care so the taste doesn't change.) Always supporting the Sakuragicho one.
View on GoogleThe lunch menu was revamped and prices went up. It was good when they first opened, but the value for money has gotten worse, so I won't be back. There are hardly any Japanese customers. Things on the menu sometimes can't be served, and dishes that differ from the photos come out. The lunch drink doesn't come unless you ask for it. If you don't want to be disappointed, there are other places.
