On the weekend, as a closure to drinking in the afternoon, I arrived right after the evening opening of the two-part service. The atmosphere is a grown-up space, giving a feeling of being able to spend time leisurely. It is more of an adult's establishment rather than for families with children. I think it is better to avoid bringing children. The menu offers items that allow you to enjoy drinking with soba, and next time I would love to enjoy soba drinking. What I ordered was my usual "Ten Seiro". You can enjoy the soba, and it shows how capable they are with tempura, making it one of the evaluations for the restaurant. The soba was thin, had firmness, and was "shikoshiki" (chewy), making it satisfying and delicious. The soba dipping broth had a standard, unoffensive taste. The tempura dipping broth was sweet-leaning, which is my favorite taste (I added soba water and drank it all up). It was delicious, thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

The seating spacing is wide, and it is a restaurant with a calm atmosphere. The soba is thin, firm, and delicious. The portion is neither too much nor too little, just the right amount, and I thought it was a restaurant where even a single woman could easily come.

This is a soba restaurant with a calm atmosphere like a hideout. The maroon noren (curtain) adds a touch of traditional charm to the simple exterior, and its quiet presence was impressive. The interior features beautiful lattices and miniature gardens, creating a serene Japanese-style space that feels relaxing and spacious. This time, I ordered "Fried Mochi Soba", "Katsudon", and "Dashimaki Tamago". The fried mochi soba features thin soba noodles that blend well with the sweet broth, while the fragrance of yuzu gently drifts, offering a refreshing flavor. The fried mochi had a crispy exterior and chewy interior, making it a satisfying dish. The katsudon has a light flavor powered by dashi, with the breading of the pork cutlet retaining a slightly crispy texture, highlighting the refined quality typical of a soba restaurant. The dashimaki tamago is packed with sweet dashi, and the deliciousness oozing from the cross-section is simply irresistible. Overall, it offers good value for money, a Japanese atmosphere, solid flavors, and a calm dining experience.

Soben Matsuya is a charming neighborhood soba restaurant where you can enjoy authentic soba in a calm atmosphere. When I visited during the holiday lunch time, there were a few groups waiting, but the turnover was fast, and I was able to enter without waiting too long. The interior is quiet, cozy, and has an atmosphere that is easy to enter even alone. The soba has a firm texture, a good balance with the dipping sauce, is aromatic, and very delicious. Sets like tempura are also substantial, providing a satisfying meal. Close to the station, the good accessibility is also a charm. It is a wonderful, community-rooted restaurant where you can casually enjoy delicious soba at a reasonable price. Recommended for daily use or a small dine-out.
