If you're looking for an eel restaurant in Akabane, why not visit 「川栄」, offering unchanged craftsmanship and deliciousness since its founding in 1946? Located in Akabane, Kita-ku, Tokyo, our restaurant is conveniently just a 3-minute walk from Akabane Station and serves carefully crafted dishes using Japanese domestic eel prepared in the Kanto style. Even as catches of young eels decline and Japanese domestic eel becomes scarce, we use only Japanese domestic eel and employ our unique 「生蒸し製法」 method, steaming it from raw before grilling it with sauce. Enjoy its fragrant aroma and plump, tender texture. We recommend the rich, fatty 「青うなぎ」, allowing you to savor eel's natural umami with our secret sauce, replenished over many years…

Very good Unajyu. They only use Japanese domestic eels, Blue eels, Aounagi, is the best one. Dashi soup coming with the main is also good.

We enjoyed a combination of battered chicken sashimi, grilled skin skewers, grilled eel with beer, and finished with broiled eel and rice in a bowl 😋 It was already great to eat and drink in the daytime ♪lol

Why 川栄 doesn’t sell ホロバラ串 now?😢 I thought it was the most delicious dish in 川栄
