I'd been curious about this place for a long time but hadn't managed to visit. Finally the timing worked out for my first visit. There was no greeting when I entered, and the staff were unfriendly and chatting with someone who seemed to be a regular, so I thought I'd made a mistake. But when I worked up the courage to ask, “It's my first visit, could you tell me what you recommend?”, they suddenly smiled and kindly explained, “We serve Nagaoka ramen and Tsubame-Sanjo ramen,” and “I like the iwanori chuka too,” so I ordered the iwanori chuka as a set with a chashu rice bowl. What arrived was thick-noodle shio ramen topped with a huge amount of iwanori. It was enjoyable as the crisp seaweed softened in the broth. Then I was surprised to discover onion and grated yuzu as I ate. When I asked, they said these ingredients are common in Tsubame-Sanjo ramen. I don't usually eat shio ramen much, but these pleasant accents kept this one interesting to the end. The chashu rice bowl wasn't bad, although I thought it had few toppings. If I get the chance, I'd also like to try the tsukemen, miso ramen, and Nagaoka ginger ramen. Thank you for the meal!

A shop where iwanori chuka is recommended. It tastes good, but prices are high overall. If it were about 300円 cheaper, I might go again.

I went at 20:30, and there were about 5 customers! I think it can seat around 15, so there probably won't be a wait! I was full

Soy sauce and iwanori are a perfect match! It would be fantastic if they could lower the price a little more!

I had tsukemen. I felt the broth would taste better with a little more dashi flavor and less salt.
