My first time here. You go in, buy a meal ticket, get water from the water cooler, and before long your number is called. The freshly made katsudon was piping hot and delicious 😋 The best dinner for 700 yen! Thanks for the meal!

I stop by occasionally in the morning when I have time to spare, or at night after drinking. For a station standing-soba chain, my impression isn't bad. If you come by bicycle, the downside is you can't park in front of the shop.

Had a slightly late breakfast here. Since it was daytime on a weekend, it was pretty crowded. After buying a meal ticket, you head over to the kitchen. Sansai soba with an egg topping. It's been a while since I came to this soba shop, but the taste was as reliable as ever and delicious. It's fast, warms you up, and fills you up, so I love station soba. Since it's connected to a coffee shop, a lot of people were sitting around leisurely too. Thanks for the meal.

A standing soba shop in front of Oji Station on the Keihin-Tohoku Line. A chain found inside JR stations and in front of ticket gates. This day I came by as a closer after having a few drinks. Bought a meal ticket at the ticket machine. This chain's kakiage soba is good, so I went with that. My number was called and I went to pick it up. Partly because the ticket machine connects straight to the kitchen, it's nice that it's served quickly. Sat down and dug in. The soba is firmer than old-school standing soba. It's somewhere between the firm standing soba of recent years and the old-school kind. Pretty tasty soba. The kakiage might not be freshly fried, but the texture is better than the pre-made kind. The soba and broth are well balanced, with some sweetness too. It's a bit heavy as a closer, but it sits well in the stomach.

Visited around 8:30 on a Saturday I was tempted by the seasonal soba, but it's only served from 10, so I had no choice but to order the breakfast soba with chikuwa tempura and an extra inari Since I was there anyway, I waited while watching the robot boil the fresh noodles~ That said, the noodles were pre-boiled, so it was ready before I even had to wait The shop was about 60% full, so no trouble finding a seat Tasty, with a clean broth and softish soba I did kind of wish the noodles had a bit more bite, but I guess this is how it is The inari sushi came in a pack, gently seasoned fried tofu stuffed with white rice They're small, but just right for eating lightly(?) in the morning
