A Taiwanese & Chinese bar centered on sharpin, hugely popular in Taiwan✨ We offer sharpin in all kinds of flavors, including shrimp, cheese, kakuni, takana, and garlic! Our Taiwanese castella is made to bring out the natural sweetness of the eggs and ingredients, so it's not too sweet and you won't tire of it! The fluffy, moist texture is addictive❗️ Other takeout items include several kinds of fried rice, mapo tofu, jirohan, shumai, and more✨ For dine-in, we also offer a menu crafted with care by the owner, who trained for many years at a certain Chinese restaurant☺️ With a reservation, we can also prepare birthday plates and the like for dine-in🙇‍♂️ Note that on weekdays from 14:00–17:0…

We got the Taiwanese Castella cake. We ate it before reading the directions so we are going back to get another chance to follow directions. It was yummy even with us not following directions 😋

Visited at lunchtime on a weekday. It's a small shop, so there aren't many seats. There's a good-value lunch menu where you choose from 7 mains and 6 sharpin. The chilled udon seems to come in 3 flavors. It comes with soup and zha cai. There's black vinegar and chili oil on the table. Use the black vinegar to change up the soup and the chili oil for the sharpin. I ordered the chilled udon (chicken & green onion shoyu) and the kakuni sharpin. I added a swirl of black vinegar to the soup, which arrived first. Vinegar to taste The main was a fairly large portion and came with the sharpin, so I was stuffed. Sharpin is what in Japan you'd call 'oyaki.

I was craving mapo tofu, so I went in for the first time. The lunch set comes with sharpin and is a better deal, so I went with the mapo rice bowl set. It was my first time eating sharpin; it was surprisingly filling and well flavored, and dipped in the chili oil on the table it was really delicious. The soup that comes with lunch was also very tasty with a little black vinegar added for flavor. The mapo bowl is Sichuan-style, so I was expecting more numbing heat and spice, but it wasn't really like that—a gentle mapo that went great with rice. It was delicious.

Visited for lunch. The shop is clean and tidy. The owner has a gentle vibe, and the service was very kind. That day I chose the lunch set with authentic Sichuan mapo tofu rice bowl and kakuni sharpin. For dessert I ordered the bite-sized castella. After a few minutes' wait, first came the zha cai, sharpin, and soup. My first sharpin was chewy and packed with filling inside—really delicious. You can change up the soup with black vinegar, and the added acidity makes it even better. Next came the mapo tofu bowl. Authentic Sichuan-style with a punch, very delicious. The rice was good too. The bite-sized castella for dessert was more than a bite—very generous. Fluffy and moist, very delicious. I bought jirohan and kakuni sharpin to take home for my companion, who happily ate them saying they were super tasty and very filling. I'd like to visit again.

Visited for lunch on a Saturday in September 2023 Went in around 11:30. No other customers. The shop is small, with a tatami area for 3–4 in the back, a table for 2, and a counter. Whether it feels clean is questionable. For the lunch set, I ordered the mapo tofu bowl and kakuni sharpin, my companion the chicken fried rice and shrimp sharpin, plus mapo tofu à la carte. Overall the saltiness is held back. Personally I'd like a bit more salt and umami. The fried rice is the moist type rather than the fluffy separate-grain type and generous in volume, but since the meat is chicken (probably breast), it's lightly seasoned—just right when topped with the mapo tofu. I'd have been happier if it were a bit more strongly flavored. Thank you for the meal.
