Many thanks for unique experience. Takoyaki recipe origin from osaka. Juicy octopus, cook well season and tender. Must go check the place.
View on GoogleThe food was good, but I ordered some side dish and they delayed it by 20 minutes (data from their ordering app). When I requested to cancel it they magically produced it despite being cook-it-yourself stuff (ton-toro) that you can bring in 10 seconds. I do not much care for these tactics to make customers stay longer and order more drinks...

View on GoogleVisited 'Harunoya' on the 3rd floor of a building near Akabane Station. I arrived early, just after opening, so I was their first customer of the day. Watching the initially quiet restaurant gradually come to life as time passed had a charm unique to that time of day. All the ingredients were fresh. The lovely liver and tongue, as well as baby corn grilled on the teppan, were delicious and seasoned perfectly for drinks. To finish, a young female staff member cooked the 'mentai mochi cheese monja' right in front of me. It was still a calm moment before the crowds, so being able to watch her diligent, practiced movements up close was another pleasure particular to teppanyaki. The monja she cooked to just the perfect level of doneness was superb. Service was courteous throughout, and the place was very comfortable. I'd definitely like to visit again.
