Right near Tabata Station, located right after going down the stairs in the middle of the overpass. This is the atmosphere of a true Showa cafeteria, and it seems to be run by two mothers. The prices are also quite cheap, such as ramen 400 yen, vegetable stir-fry 300 yen, fried rice 500 yen, etc. The taste is exactly like cooking made by a mother, and it feels nostalgic somehow. The sausage vegetable stir-fry is red sausage as expected, and the fried rice is sticky fried rice that is the opposite of the popular loose fried rice, but I'm happy with that. The katsudon that the high school student next door was eating also looked delicious. It seems there is a banana service at lunch time, this is also a nice service.

\\ Wow~ it's a cafeteria~. Ramen ¥400! // Where you get down to the ground from the north exit of Tabata Station! Here, there is standing soba, Kashiyama-san, and next to it is a quiet cafeteria. Night business hours are limited from 18:00 to 20:00 and I have often been turned away before closing time. Haha I was looking for something warm that I could eat without using teeth, and happened to be near Tabata at this time, I went out of my way to go with 'let's go!' haha The lights are on~! Entered. Ah~..., it's a cafeteria. Interior without decoration, TV with commercial broadcasting. Two people, a grandma and an aunt operating it. Service that doesn't care at all. Even if there are customers, they continue chatting calmly, that kind of feeling is actually comfortable, isn't it. I ordered the ramen I was aiming for. It's ¥400. And it includes tax. Grandma makes it for me, swinging a large wok. The simple, simple is the best. Ah~~ the soup is very delicious I saw them using a commercial bottle that says 'Chinese soup base' in big letters, but it's still delicious Maybe because it's made in a large pot. Ingredients are a little bit but delicious. Somehow it feels heartwarming~ The noodles are chewy, have firmness too, delicious. I ended up using teeth a little. Haha I thought the noodles would be more soggy! Hahaha Because my body was cold, I drank it all! Grandma was happy because I ate it cleanly. It's a bit unsatisfying..., if this is for one meal, I have to order rice food too to be enough. By the way, I saw bananas placed there, but I didn't get one. Maybe lunch time service. When visiting at 19:00, katsudon was sold out, and the noodles seem to be finished after being given for the aunt's staff meal. They said 40 people came in an hour and a half at lunch time, and grandma did all the cooking alone, so I was surprised! Amazing! Both Kashiyama-san and Darumaya-san, these two shops are shops that can give me energy from the grandma. I feel 'I have to try hard too'.

I visited during weekday lunch. Since it wasn't 12 o'clock yet, there were only 4 previous customers. When I was confused about what to order, my companion ordered katsudon, so I asked for the same thing. Regular customers who entered later? Many ordered ramen or chashu-men, fried rice. After the order was placed, it was served in an instant with dexterity. Simple katsudon and pickled radish were served. The taste felt a bit strong. There is no miso soup... (separate charge ¥100) This shop, is there dessert? I got 1 banana. It feels like a downtown cafeteria.

2025.02 Katsudon ¥700 + Banana ¥0 A shop located at the place after going down the stairs behind the elevator around the end of the overpass, exiting from the north exit of JR Tabata Station to the right. Compared to last year, the price has increased by 100 yen overall, and katsudon has also increased from 600 yen to 700 yen. The banana that can be obtained as a service is still there. A small bowl that comes out without waiting long with rhythmic cooking from two mothers. The pork cutlet soaked in sweet sauce is quite thick, and forms a trinity with the light texture of eggs and the accent of onions. This katsudon is often talked about with the description 'old-fashioned', unlike ramen etc., is there actually a katsudon that is not old-fashioned? If there is such a katsudon, I would like to eat it once. In short, this katsudon has a very orthodox taste. Of course it's delicious, but it's not something to be excessively expected. But sometimes I want to eat it.
