17.6.2025 (Tuesday) First visit at lunch. Lunch is basically standard & daily, all 990 yen (curry only 700 yen), easy-to-understand price setting (above current) and voluminous. I'm also happy that rice, cabbage, and miso soup are free refills, so it makes sense that it's always crowded with male customers at lunch. 9.4.2026 (Thursday) Lunch visit. Last December, all lunches went up in price. Especially the daily lunch, depending on the menu of the day, it's on average about 1200 yen. In this day and age, I know that price increases are inevitable, but it's really hard... (crying)

Lunch set fried chicken 750 yen. I thought it was good value in terms of volume and appearance!! But... The miso soup is fish soup and delicious. White rice is also not bad. But the most important fried chicken is somehow bitter. The aftertaste is bitter. Since there are two types of salt and chili sauce, I tried to cover it up with plenty, but it didn't work. Bitter. The bitterness is too strong, not delicious. Can't eat it. So for the first time in my life, I left the fried chicken.

It was a shop that was too bad,,. The serving of food and drinks was slow, and even though I ordered a fresh squeezed lemon sour, the drink that finally arrived was a concentrate lemon sour that was cheaper. When I told the staff, they insisted it was fresh squeezed, so I gave up. When I asked how many lemons go in if it's fresh squeezed, the answer was 2. However, when I looked at the lemon sour that arrived, there was only one lemon in it, so when I told them that, they said "because the lemons ran out, I took 100 yen off". When I told them I wanted them to explain that when serving, for some reason they widened their eyes. Because I felt distrust, when I checked the final slip, the price didn't match. When I asked if the menu was written including tax, they said it was including tax, so the moment I said the amount didn't match, they suddenly pursed their lips and said it was excluding tax. I can't trust anything anymore. It was a shop that couldn't be trusted because everything was sloppy. After that, when I asked if the serving was always this slow, they said "today it happened to be crowded so it was this slow. I also hated it because it was crowded". So when I said "Don't say that! I came all the way to drink!", they gave an irrelevant answer "I hate it! Because I want to go drink quickly!". I was stunned. I will never go again.

Izakaya near Kajiwara stop. When visiting, managed by one quiet young man. Snack menu is abundant. 10 skewer set for 1200 yen is a good value. I wish the sashimi portion was larger.
