I had the daily morning set. That day it consisted of toast, a sunny-side-up egg, sausage, and salad. The toast was about as thick as a slice from a 6-slice loaf. It was toasted to a firm golden brown, but the moisture had evaporated, so the bread's natural flavor and fluffy texture were lost. The surface was spread with margarine, and since the bread had cuts in it, the margarine soaked in nicely all the way through. The fried egg had a fragrant, browned edge, and the yolk was runny. The sausage had a soft texture and was topped with ketchup. The salad tasted genuinely fresh. The hot coffee was aromatic, with a good balance of bitterness and acidity—a delicious coffee with a lingering aftertaste after swallowing. For a morning set at 500円, I was very satisfied with what I got. The interior is long and narrow, mostly counter seats, with table seats in the back. The background sound was radio rather than music, so if it weren't for the dim lighting, it would have felt like a neighborhood Chinese diner (machi-chuka). I visited right after opening on a weekday and there were no other customers. After me, regulars came in one after another, and the place suddenly became lively. Payment is cash only, and smoking is allowed. It's definitely closed on Sundays. It seems to also close about one other day a week. Also, the signal reception isn't good, so I thought using a PC or smartphone would be a bit difficult. I'd like to come again if I get the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Came for the morning set. For the affordable price of 500円 you get 1/2 slice of toast, a roll with ham and eggs, and a boiled egg—quite substantial, which made me happy. The boiled egg was cooked perfectly!

A kissaten with fairly cheap prices and mainly counter seating. Light meals come at a discounted set price if ordered with a drink. I think the coffee is good. There are lots of regulars, and it's a genuine, bona fide smoking-allowed shop.
