Small but free. Helpful staff. Not much written in English, but you can use the app POCKET CURATOR for explanations in English. I learned a lot about printing money and stamps.

Very helpful and friendly staff despite the language barrier. The museum itself was very interesting especially the various interesting bank notes from around the world. There was also a sneak preview of the new Japanese notes coming later this year.

A great, free museum featuring currency and stamps from around the world. They detail some interesting aspects to the manufacture and security, as well. The museum is entirely in Japanese but an English floor guide is available.

A nice free museum. The staff is very kind, and they have pamphlets in English that explain the exhibits very well. A great reason to head up to Kita city.
