A traditional Soba Restaurant. The Soba Noodle is very fine(thin) than what you may be used to. I would recommend to make the portion "Omori(extra)" if you are hungry. The Tempura is good too. I had the Spicy Beef tendon Soba(Gyu-suji) which was good but the Curry Soba looked good too and several people around us were ordering it.

Great noodle house in the Akabane neighborhood of Tokyo. The soba was a little lighter colored than I make at home, but still very tasty. Get the popular soba with tempura (ten zura). If you're more adventurous, there's an expansive menu of dishes, as well as fermented and distilled drinks. Even non alcoholic beer. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere...

This place is only so-so when it comes to its soba noodles. I think it is averaging four stars mainly because it has been around for so long and the meals are decently sized.

One of my best soba noodle shop in Tokyo. I was introduced here by my friend who lives more than 50 years.
