Clean and modern cafe with lots of natural lighting and wood tones. The iced black coffee was excellent and the staff was pleasant. Great place to relax and have an afternoon coffee in the Akabane area after visiting the Iwabuchi Watergate. Restroom was very clean and well maintained.
View on GoogleI visited this place today with my cycling group but i was very unhappy with the rude gestures of the owner. He asked us to wait outside until one person finish the order even though there was enough space available in the shop. I never recommend this place to anyone. Coffee was good but what matters is how welcomed when you go at any place.
View on GoogleCozy cafe located in Akabane Iwabuchi. You will first not imagine that you can encounter such cozy cafe around this habitat area of Akabane. The cafe is not so huge and it does not face wide street. But you can enjoy the real sense of “being at home”.
View on GoogleSometimes you just know when you’ve stumbled on a truly local spot. Aeru is bright and welcoming and clearly connected to the neighborhood. Staff are super friendly, and the coffee is delicious. Didn’t have the banana bread but it’s definitely on my list for next time.
View on GoogleThe most unwelcome I have felt for a long time. Perhaps because I could only say hello in Japanese ? No smile , no welcome, and not allowed for two people to sit down with one coffee in an almost empty place. So changed to a take out. Coffee - beans used might be ok, but vey weak; perhaps that was deliberate. A depressing experience and would never return. It is interesting to note that others have also commented on the rude barista and the weak latte, so I do not feel my judgement is either harsh or an isolated experience.
