I've tried the mazemen, tantanmen, and shoyu ramen currently on the menu, so here are my thoughts. ◯Mazemen The wheat flavor you'd expect from house-made noodles and the punch of garlic chives and chili really come through, delicious. Contrary to its veggie-heavy look, it had a junky flavor in a good way. My favorite of the 3. ◯Tantanmen It's pretty spicy. I love spicy food so I enjoyed it, but the heat leaves such a strong impression that it's hard to taste the umami and other flavors. It might not be for everyone. They say it's a “soup that keeps getting richer as it's topped up,” so maybe you get a different flavor depending on when you go? I'd like to eat it again. ◯Shoyu ramen It's by no means bad, but the flavor feels too simple. The noodle flavor, maybe because they'd gone a bit soft, was harder to taste than in the mazemen, and there was something like charred green onion in it, but I couldn't really pick up that flavor either. That said, maybe this simplicity assumes you'll customize it with the garlic and chili oil (house-made?) on the table. I'd be happy if they had fried green onions on the table. Also, personally I really like the chili oil on the table. It's delicious when you add it. They promote their house-made noodles, but they seem even more particular about their chili. I think they should promote that too, no? Looking at their Instagram, it seems they're experimenting with the menu, so I'd like to visit again to enjoy changes in flavor and new menu items. The mazemen noodles had a nice flavor, so I'd be happy if they had tsukemen.

There were no tasty-looking ramen shops in the nearby shopping mall, so I went into this ramen shop I'd spotted on the way. My kid ordered the “Yoshi Ramen,” and I ordered the “Tantanmen.” The shop is spacious, with table seats as well as a counter, so it's fine to come with kids. The shop feels clean. Both the “Yoshi Ramen” and the “Tantanmen” were very delicious. The “Yoshi Ramen” in particular is a savory shoyu ramen with an addictive taste. The price is reasonable too. The “Tantanmen” tastes like it has curry spices? in it, spicy and delicious. Personally, I prefer the “Yoshi Ramen.” If it were nearby, I'd want to come once a week. They have alcohol, but it's a shame there's no gyoza.

February 24, 2023, first visit at lunch. I had the Yoshi Mazemen, large, for 800 yen. Sichuan-style, or rather, the “ma” (numbing) flavor of sansho pepper hits first, and I enjoyed it. They have paper bibs too, which is nice since it's easy to drop in even for a lunch during work. If soup splashes on your shirt, it's a pain later.. I'm used to it since I like Jiro-style, but it might be good to clearly ask people to throw used tissues and such in the trash bin. Also, if they put a cloth on the counter, I'd wipe it myself. Next time I'd like to try the shoyu ramen too. Revisited March 14, 2023. The menu has grown, so I had the Wonton Yoshi Ramen, large, for 840 yen. Free upsizing on this one too, which is great. I enjoyed it.

Update 2022/3 I heard they added menu items, so I came right away. It was a bit early on my way home from work, so I could eat at a leisurely pace. Slightly thinner noodles than the tantanmen? Like everyone says, it's just right once you add garlic and chili oil to taste~. Next time maybe I'll try a bunch of toppings. I'd been curious since it was under construction — when did you open!? Please advertise more~. So, when I came to the marché at Kameari Shrine, it was open, so I went right in, GO! Today~ tantanmen! Medium-thick noodles like champon noodles, with sesame and chili kneaded in, really nice. Will the menu expand from here? Next I'm taking on the mazemen~.

The taste, service, everything is good. It's good, but it feels like it lacks impact.. The noodles are house-made, the signature blended soy sauce is delicious, and the thick chashu is delicious too. I don't usually go for shoyu with ramen, but I chose shoyu because it said it was their proud original blend. This is it! I feel like it'd be good to have a short story, like “This is what our ramen is proud of” or “This is what it took to get here.” Like writing a little something on the signboard. Or making some quirky, heavy-duty menu item. The street-stall-style tantanmen seems to be good, but looking at the menu inside, it didn't make me go, “Oh, I want to eat that next time!” This is just my opinion, but in a ramen battleground like Kameari, I feel like merely tasty gets buried. I'd like a ramen that appeals to enthusiasts
