Delicious ramen, wonderfully warm place on this wet and cold night. Broth is salty, yes, but that seems just right to me with the tender pork and fresh leafy vegetables and nori. Hats off to the young lady running the place with energy, expertise and a warm greeting. Also loved the music!
View on GoogleInitially found this gem because it was the only nearby spot open when we were craving ramen at 1am. This was the first ramen I had while visiting Japan so I may be biased, but this was delicious. The menu is very simple and we ordered using a kiosk machine so it was simple and easy to do. You can pick your level of noodle hardness, broth flavour strength, and oil amoint. My bowl of char siu ramen was only 1,250 yen. You could also order rice and extra meat or veggies for the ramen. The owner was the sweetest and tried his best to communicate and have a conversation even with his limited english. When I couldnt finish my ramen and asked for a takeout container, he gave me an extra egg, veggies, another char siu slice, and seaweed he separately wrapped in clingwrap. He was fantastic. I wish I could go back but I won’t be able to anytime soon 😭
View on GoogleI visited for the first time. So I ordered regular ramen, firm noodles, extra oil. The order came quickly. Foreign staff. They are working hard. The noodles were firm and delicious. The soup was completely balanced and the soy sauce base was also balanced. There is something that bothers me😅 Did I make sure to ask for extra chicken oil (chi-yu)? Is this the shop's standard😢 Another thing, does the rice come with kappa pickles? I sat in front of the L-shaped toilet, so I didn't know if it was served to the person in front of the ticket machine at first glance. On the other side, there are kappa and pickles visible🤭 Iekei usually has kappa, sesame, ginger, etc., so from the base price, is it included? Is it not included? Also, the staff took it away immediately (--;) At other shops, they made it easy to understand so that it could be used, so (--;) Was my understanding lacking? LINE registration or kappa, etc. For first-time visitors, if you could greet us, it would be helpful, what do you think?
View on GoogleI had chashu ramen and a regular rice. Not only delicious Iekei ramen, but also high-quality nori, tender chashu, fresh spinach, and the price is general, but the ingredients are good and the rice is also delicious, it was a happy lunch. The soup was slightly mild and not too salty. The customer service was also very good, paying attention to details. During lunch time, it's hard to find empty paid street parking, but it was ramen and rice that I want to eat again.
View on GoogleSunday evening visit. ・Domestic spinach ramen large portion ・Time service rice. The soup of Iekei ramen is characterized by a very strong salty taste, but this bowl is not too thick yet has an addictive flavor, the quality is so high that I finished the soup for the first time in a long time. The fresh texture and good flavor unique to raw spinach are wonderful, and I am grateful to be able to consume such happy green and yellow vegetables. The staff are foreigners, but their Japanese is fluent and their customer service is extremely polite and their smiles are bright, unlike the customer service level of a ramen shop. Of course, this ramen is delicious, but such pleasant customer service makes me want to come back again. If you finish the soup, you will get a service ticket "Makuri-ken" that can be used next time.
