View on GoogleYou can't go wrong with anything you order. . . . Second visit. Since my first visit with my family was delicious, this time I invited some friends. Since there were no kids, we could eat at a leisurely pace, so I enjoyed this visit even more than the first. Reserved for 6 adults and 2 children. We increased the number of people midway through, but they kindly added an extra table for us. Since there aren't many seats, walk-ins and same-day reservations seem difficult. There doesn't seem to be a time limit, so it's not really a place where you wait to get in; reservations are essential. Since there were 6 adults, we ordered everything once and then added more of what we wanted to eat again. More tongue, more misuji, more shin-rosu. We ate so much. The misuji was so delicious I could eat it forever. The meat's flavor, fat, and tenderness were all perfect. One thing I highly recommend at this restaurant is the mino (tripe)! It says it's the second best in Tokyo, but it's actually the best! It retains a nice chewiness while being quite tender. The seasoning is also delicious. If it's crowded, some items take quite a while, so it's best to order the time-consuming items early. The namul, soup, and rice dishes are all delicious. Even though we ate a lot, it was 7,500 yen per person, so it's cheap. If fewer people are drinking, I think it would be even cheaper. I don't usually go to the same place often, but I love this place so much, and it's easy to get to from home, so I want to make it my regular spot! Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleA new shop that opened in December 2021. It's a compact, family-run shop with five 4-person tables and two 2-person tables inside. Gas grilling. The smoke exhaust duct is excellent, so there was almost no smokiness in the shop. The owner is said to be the former head chef of Uguisudani-en. The husband and wife owners both provide very polite service. I got the impression they specialize in roast cuts; even the regular ones have more than enough marbling (3rd photo). Perfect for those who want to eat white rice with the deliciousness of the fat. I also really like that the beef tongue is cut for surface area rather than thickness. The marinade is low in salt. What you absolutely must eat is the Kochori. It's so-called fresh kimchi, or lightly pickled kimchi. The crunchiness of the Chinese cabbage is irresistible. You must order seconds. Besides what's in the photos, we ordered extra upper mino, extra roast, cold noodles, and a bottle of shochu with mixers, and the bill was just over 10,000 yen. It's so cost-effective, I don't know what to do. They say they are currently open without any days off. They even do lunch; how much do they intend to cater to the people of Kameari... If there is one point to note, all meat is cut after the order is placed, so the serving speed is slow. The satisfaction more than makes up for it, but impatient people should refrain. From the Kameari Station South Exit rotary, taking a taxi and saying "Nishi-Kameari Post Office" is easy. I wonder when I should go next.
