There aren't many restaurants in Shibamata, and this is one of the delicious ones. It's easy to enter and they have soba, udon, rice dishes, ramen, etc., so I enjoy trying something different every time I go. There are also draft beer and snacks.
View on GoogleEverything at Taishakuten has a line, so I walked to Shin-Shibamata and looked for a soba shop and found it. The atmosphere and taste were outstanding. They seem very busy with deliveries.
View on GoogleWhen I was looking for a place that could deliver if it was within walking distance from home, I first found it on the map near the station. By chance, I happened to enter a shop with the same name in Tateishi a while ago, so I asked and it turns out Shibamata is a branch (noren-wake)! Tateishi did deliveries and it was delicious, so I was excited to go! Although Google Maps information said no delivery, there was a delivery bike parked in front of the shop. Could it be⁉︎ I ordered a large soba and waited a while, then it appeared in a quite mountainous portion. If it's like this, an extra 200 yen makes sense. There was a small cold tofu. The owner? appeared from the back and gave me sesame sauce, saying try eating with this too. The orthodox soba sauce was also thick and delicious. But, the amount was so much that I laughed. I couldn't add soba water because it was already salty, so I left it. I wanted to drink more. I've tried calling several times to order delivery on weekends, but maybe because they are busy, they rarely answer the phone... I want to order but I've only been able to use it once.
View on GoogleAt lunchtime, I thought I wanted something refreshing... so today I visited Togetsu to look for my favorite soba. Since cold days continue, I ordered meat soba. The color of the broth looks dark, but the taste is not too strong and not too light. It didn't cling excessively to the soba, it was smooth to eat. The meat also had just the right texture. It seems they also have ramen, so maybe next time I'll try that.... Postscript: The next day I also ate ramen! Like a typical soba shop ramen, the Chinese flavor was weak, and it was a very light ramen. I also ordered a mini katsu-don, and this was a hit. The katsu, broth, and the doneness of the rice were all good.
View on GoogleCurry soba. 880 yen including tax. Maybe because the soba shops around are closed due to corona or summer vacation, it's full and there's a wait. The price is high. Sets etc are 1200 yen. Thickness is weak, noodles are soft, the amount is decent. Lots of meat. The taste is not bad, just average. The staff's response is kind and polite. If it was around 700 yen, I might give it 4 stars, but the high price is still bothering me.
