I had heard about it from my parents and had been curious for a while, but today I was finally able to enter. I ordered the "Jo" (upper), but for me this is enough. Pickles were also served in abundance and it was filling. The richness of the sauce and the aroma of the grilling felt just right. It's a shop that makes me want to go back again.

About a 9-minute walk from Ohanajaya Station. I visited around 13:00 on a Saturday! It's an old-fashioned eel restaurant in Shiratori, Katsushika-ku, and the calm atmosphere of the single house is impressive. There are also tatami seats inside, so the space allows you to eat in a relaxed manner without being stiff. I visited with my family today, but I think it's easy to enter even alone, and it's perfect for families. At lunchtime it was almost full, and local customers came one after another. ▷ Unaju When the lid is opened, a large eel is lying on top, and the appearance alone whets the appetite! The surface is grilled aromatically, and the inside is fluffy. The sauce is not too thick, and the balance with the rice is just right, so I was able to eat it until the end without getting bored. The sauce also soaks well into the rice, and the moment of scooping it up with the eel is the best! The pickles were also a good palate cleanser, and the overall satisfaction was quite high. There is no flashiness, but it was a place where you could enjoy eel calmly in an old-fashioned atmosphere. I think this is a strong candidate if you want to eat authentic unaju casually! I want to use it again if I'm near here. Payment method -> Cash only

It's a long-established eel restaurant within walking distance from my house. I went for lunch with a reservation. Maybe it's family-run? The building and atmosphere are old-fashioned. Because it was during the Obon holidays, it was crowded with families and people returning from memorial services. Unaju Tokujo 3700 yen. Liver soup and pickles are also plentiful. The grilling level and the taste of the slightly sweet sauce are also very good! It. I was very satisfied to be able to eat such delicious unaju at this price.

I happened to pass by and met a delicious eel restaurant. Lunch was empty, but I think you can drink with seafood at night. I'm envious that I can eat eel of this quality nearby.
