Come if you want to feel an authentic japoneses experience! The sushi were amazing
View on GoogleWe had some of the best food we've had in Japan during our month long holiday. We were lucky enough to befriend Kat san who was dining there, he helped us converse more with the chef and they stayed open later for us to fully enjoy the experience. The food is seriously amazing, this is worth the trip to go. Jarryd loved the golf ball markers he was gifted by the owner and we can't wait to return again when we come back to Japan. Thank you for the memorable and enjoyable experience, it was a highlight for us.
View on GoogleA gem. Fantastic local sushi place with a friendly chef and patrons as well. This was my first stop after the airport, I had a transfer at Aoto station and could not wait any longer to eat. So glad I found this place. I wanted to come again before I left Tokyo but sadly had to leave before they opened for dinner. The tuna was exceptional and buttery. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The sushi chef’s wife made these cute toothpick holders. Best of luck to the chef and everyone else at the restaurant. A gem for sure.
View on GoogleI stopped by this place for the first time 4 days into my trip while staying in Aoto because the reviews seemed good and I was craving authentic sushi. What I got was much more than just amazing food. The owner was very welcoming on my first day and walked me through how to order while giving me his recommendations. They were great FYI. I ate like I haven't eaten in days because the food was great and the vibes of the restaurant added to the flavor. I left more than satisfied. The experience was the highlight of my trip. I then stopped by again for the next two days because I loved it so much. Again the food was great but the experience just kept getting better and better. On my last visit, the chef and I took a picture together after my dinner and that's when this place became my favorite place in all of Japan. I'll be sure to visit again when I come back to Japan.
View on GoogleEverything was amazing. We are 6 Australians travelling Japan. The owner was helpful and gave us options to pick from despite him, as he put it, having limited English. However we found his English quite good. The Toro was one we think we will compare all Toro to!
