Morning soba in Kameari~! Yesterday I came to Matsudo to visit my family's grave, stayed the night, and today I'm heading back to Osaka. I was checking my own personal want-to-go list for any nearby shops listed on a certain review site that I hadn't visited yet, and found 鈴しげ in Kameari, two stations away. It's across from Kameari Park, a short walk from the station. You can get there easily if you look it up on a map. You pick from the menu at the ticket machine inside, and the shungiku tempura soba caught my eye right away so I decided instantly (lol). Looking at other people's posts, I saw you could get gobo tempura as a single item, so I copied them and added it. When I handed over my ticket, it came super fast with a “Here you go~”. Seeing broth this jet-black for the first time in a while made me grin. The taste was just as I imagined, totally Kanto! The soba was a bit thick? with a really nice bite, and both the shungiku tempura and gobo tempura were very delicious. Very filling~. Looks like Tsukaji-san visited for a TV show shoot. Thanks for the meal!
View on GoogleTokyo morning soba trip. Kameari Morning soba is great, right? There are lots in Tokyo. Open from the morning. Soba shops. I'm making the rounds. This time I came to 鈴しげ. Opens at 6 AM. I arrived a little after 7. Oh. They have shungiku tempura soba. And it's 420 yen. Cheap. It came right after ordering. I stick my chopsticks into the shungiku. Crispy type, a bit hard. The soba is soft. The broth: DELISH!! And so, cleaned the bowl. Thanks for the meal!
View on GoogleGesoten soba 440 yen, onigiri 120 yen Literally a shop in front of Kameari Park. I came after seeing it on Drunk Tsukaji's show. It's on the corner of a small intersection. Saturday 10 AM, one other customer. There were at least three staff, and the one who cooked my order was a fairly elderly man… he was breathing heavily, is he okay The soba is pre-boiled noodles, dipped in hot water and served in an instant. There's quite a variety of tempura, fried in advance. The soba has a slightly catchy texture, a strong soba flavor but soft. The broth is on the strong side but not much dashi flavor… and there's not much of it either. The gesoten is on the small side. It's cheap, but my expectations were high, and the taste felt way too ordinary
View on GoogleThey call it standing soba, but there were chairs too. The shop is very compact. There's a restroom too. Aji tempura soba with a wakame topping. A mistake. The broth got lukewarm😵💧 The aji was fluffy and tasty. The broth was strong and I left most of it. Sorry.
View on GoogleFirst visit to 鈴しげ, which I'd been curious about for a while. While other standing soba shops are gradually raising prices, this one is quite cheap. The tempura being a bit small is a minor drawback, but it was good value and delicious. Thanks for the meal.
