An old-school neighborhood Chinese restaurant, in a very good way Had miso tanmen, gyoza, and fried rice The tanmen was the best😊 The vegetables were piled so high I wondered if it was Jiro-style, and I panicked a bit when it came out, but the taste was really good! However, everything comes in pretty big portions, so it might be tough for light eaters Prices are reasonable despite inflation, so much so that honestly I got worried whether the shop is okay The regular rice in the set meal next to me was also the size of other shops' large, so you may need to be careful when ordering

First, the portions are very large You can make it a large portion for +100 yen! But the large is really huge😇 Basically the owner runs it solo, so it's not for impatient people. When it's crowded, please ask the owner before sitting down. The owner seems very busy, but the service is polite.

I used to live nearby but never really noticed this shop. There's tanmen, miso tanmen, and tantanmen, but no ramen on the menu. Ordered the tanmen with firm noodles. The amount of vegetables is huge for 800 yen. The taste is orthodox tanmen. But toward the second half, I got a bit tired of it? Next time I want to have a drink on the terrace.

Two of us went in just after noon on a Saturday. It had the vibe of “The shitamachi neighborhood Chinese restaurant!”, cheap, generous, and delicious. A portly old man was running it by himself. There are four four-person tables inside and two outside under the eaves. We had miso tanmen, tantanmen, and gyoza. The miso tanmen, partly because it's loaded with vegetables, is probably about the volume of a large portion at an ordinary shop. The tantanmen had a nice kick of Sichuan pepper, and I liked the gyoza with its nicely seasoned filling and chewy skin.
