I visited for lunch. It seems like two elderly sisters are splitting the service and cooking duties. For the pickles, the server took them directly from the container with her bare hands... The hygiene is a bit concerning. The taste is decent, and the portions are large. Regarding the amount of white rice, the server asked me "how much do you want to eat?", so I told her my preference. In a good way, it's an old-fashioned shop typical of the downtown area. Although I gave it a low rating, it's definitely not a place with a bad atmosphere.

I had the hamburger and menchi-katsu set meal. It came with a mountain of cabbage and lettuce, white rice in a bowl, a hearty miso soup, and even a small side dish. The hamburger and menchi-katsu were huge. The hamburger eaten with a ketchup-based sauce and the crispy menchi-katsu went perfectly with the white rice. It felt like home cooking, and the place also had a vibe suitable for drinking at night. By the way, the bowl of rice is quite large.

Visited for lunch, you can eat Chinese set meals. The meat and chive set meal had tender and delicious meat. Be careful, the rice is a standard portion but served in a large bowl.

The other day I ate the fried eggplant set meal. The eggplant beautifully arranged on the plate looked very delicious, and I was excited, but when I put it in my mouth, the skin of the eggplant was hard and inedible, and I ended up having to spit out all the skin I had put in my mouth. I remembered that before the order arrived at the table, two employees were saying that the eggplant skin was hard. Although there was a sign on the wall saying that loud conversations without masks are prohibited, the employees were not wearing masks and were talking loudly right over my order. They were also smoking. The sign on the wall said the fried eggplant set meal was 715 yen including tax, so I prepared the exact amount, but I was told it was 825 yen including tax. When I said that the sign said 715 yen including tax, they accepted the 715 yen without saying anything. It felt like I was almost ripped off, and there was no apology for the mistake. They were serving alcohol to the person at the next table. This happened on September 29, 2021.

An old-school Chinese restaurant in town with an exterior that looks like it's been there for a long time. The interior is also quite aged. Set menus are the main focus, and most are 750 yen excluding tax. Every menu item is voluminous and has a solid flavor.
