Ordered kalbi, jo-mino, horumon, salted tongue, and tegutanmen. Everything was incredibly tough and impossible to bite through. The vegetables in the tegutanmen had a strong frozen-food smell. The staff should properly taste the meat before serving it. Whether cooked thoroughly or lightly seared, it's tough no matter what. It's been a while since I picked a dud yakiniku restaurant, but this might be the worst ever. 味道苑 next door was closed, so we reluctantly came here, but it was incredibly disappointing. Even the kalbi was tough. The apple juice was seriously far too watery too. The only good thing was the fluffy hand towel.

View on GoogleMy wife found this place because she wanted yakiniku. It's in our neighborhood, so we walked there. It ended up taking 30 minutes (haha). When we arrived, we were shown to the counter since we'd reserved. The meat is Japanese Black wagyu. First, kalbi. It wasn't the premium grade, but the fat was juicy, and that alone was satisfying. The kimchi was delicious too. The sangchu set comes with miso, green chili, and garlic. Put everything in the sangchu with the kalbi and it's incredibly delicious. We enjoyed the jingisukan too. The people at the restaurant were wonderfully kind. We'll visit again.
View on GoogleThis is the most delicious yakiniku restaurant I've ever tried. When COVID was spreading, they gave me homemade disinfectant. The restaurant isn't too brightly lit, and the music is relaxed, so you can enjoy your meal peacefully. They also have tatami seating, often used by large groups and people with small children. I tried iron-pot yukhoe for the first time here, and the meat and egg had a smooth texture on the tongue and were delicious! The yakiniku meat is truly high quality, and since I love tongue, I found it even more delicious ( *´꒳`) This has gotten long, but one more thing The miso for the sangchu and the unusual after-meal ice cream (sunflower, sakura, and so on) are delicious too, and you can only taste them here, so please try them!! The people at the restaurant are really nice! The cat photo in front of the register is soothing
View on GoogleThe day after the heavy snowfall on February 6, I took photos at “冬ぼたん苑” at 上野・東照宮. The snow shelters really need snow to make a picturesque scene. It was wonderful.
