Walked in and there was no one. I wasn't sure if it was open. As I opened the door, the lady popped up and she was extremely friendly and was very welcoming. She speaks a little bit of English and gave me a quick walkthrough of the menu items and that was extremely helpful, more than most ramen spots. It turns out that she keeps a personal tourist log book where we can sign, sure called it her treasure. She gave me some recommendations for food in the Katsushika area from a food magazine. The menu is super cute and had english words. The wonton porridge is super rare in Japan and seemed very interesting but I didn't try it because I typically order the most popular item, which was the soy sauce ramen with garlic sauce. As with all ramen shops, the soup is salty so I filled it with water. The chasu here tasted sour, not sure if it's not fresh or it's the recipe. Big bowl of soup that was full of bold and strong flavor. Enjoyed the experience.

This place can get crowded especially during dinner time. Ramen was really nice with umami flavors! But what I love was the congee with wanton! It warms up your body and tastes so flavorful! I would come back again for the congee!

One of things I always wanted to have was a homey experience eating at a ramen restaurant, while vibing to the atmosphere. I got both! Very amazing ramens and porridge top along with a wonderful owner who is very kind. Honestly, for my third trip, it was a great experience when the owner and I have conversation although my Japanese is not on par. It gives it a homey experience and the broth is excellent. Unfortunately I only discover this place three days before I leave. However, the next time I am back, I am gonna make sure to stop by here again!

We stayed in an Airbnb near this restaurant for 3 days and only found this lovely ramen restaurant on the last night. The ramen was so delicious and the lady was super helpful. She explained the menu to us and helped us decide what to order. It was a big bowl of ramen and they serve Sapporo beer too. 2 customers very kindly moved to the bar seats so that we could sit on a table for 4 with our sons. The Japanese people are SO kind! Thank you thank you thank you. Highly recommend this place.
