This place has some the best chahan fried rice I've ever had hands down. It's a tiny little local family run restaurants that only seats 12 people maximum. The inside of the restaurant has the aesthetic of a store that hasn't changed in about 40 or 50 years. They don't have an English menu and they don't speak any English, so be prepared for that. Besides that, it's an amazing little place that should absolutely be worth the trip away from the main town center.
View on GoogleLovely restaurant. The food is delicious and the amount of each plate is generous.
View on GoogleAwesome place, friendly staff. Over all goodsness.
View on GoogleI ordered a set of half fried rice and shoyu ramen, miso ramen, gyoza, and liver and chives. The fried rice is loose and delicious. I also liked the shoyu ramen, which felt like old-fashioned Chinese noodles. I ate the gyoza with vinegar and chili oil as recommended by the staff, but I thought it was good enough without adding anything. The liver and chives had crunchy vegetables and the liver was also delicious. I only tasted the miso ramen soup, but it wasn't sweet and the saltiness was quite strong. There were plenty of vegetables on top, so it felt filling. Overall, I liked the taste, but I felt it was too salty. Since I was on a bike, I couldn't drink, but it would surely go very well with beer!
View on GoogleHalf fried rice and ramen set 950 yen Honestly, I didn't think it would be this delicious. The portion is just right, or rather, it's a lot. You can get a large portion for an extra 300 yen. If you get bored, you can try changing the flavor. Before noon on a weekday, there were already about 6 customers, and I entered after waiting a little. There is coin parking nearby, so it's easy to go by car. It might be a bit hard to enter because of the "machi-chuka" (town Chinese restaurant) style, but I think it's worth a try. Personally, it's the best in Tokyo.
