View on GoogleFirst visit to the conveniently located "賀登屋" next to アリオ! I visited "賀登屋", which I'd been curious about for a while, for the first time. The location is convenient: a 5-minute walk from Kameari Station, right next to アリオ亀有. The interior has a calm feel that conveys a long history, with tables for 2 and 4 and tatami seating. The clientele seemed to skew older. The shop's dedication shines through everywhere: at the entrance, "Today's soba" is posted with its origin, variety, and characteristics. Just seeing this gets your expectations up before you eat. The menu is extensive, ranging from "mori" and "kake" at 700 yen to set menus and premium tempura. They also seem to have udon and summer-only hiyamugi. This time, drawn in by the many set menus at the storefront and the note "Uses Koshihikari from Ishikawa Prefecture," and wanting to enjoy cold soba and soba-yu, I ordered the "Mori soba and katsudon set (1,550 yen)". It probably depends on how busy it is, but it arrived quickly after about 5 minutes. The katsudon, maybe made with soba tsuyu, had a rich seasoning and was delicious! It really makes the rice go down. The soba went down smoothly, had no off flavors, and was a very easy-to-eat gem. The after-meal soba-yu was neither too thick nor too thin, just the right consistency, and let me take a relaxing breather (I'm posting a video too). Personally, the portion felt a bit small, so next time I'll order a large (+150 yen). As for service, the proprietress's kindness and the owner's energetic greetings from the kitchen were heartwarming. A notice in front of the shop says Tuesdays and Wednesdays are regular closing days for medical recovery, and I just hope they don't push themselves too hard and keep going for a long time. Payment was possible with cash and PayPay (QR scan). There's still so much I want to try, like the many limited menu items, so I'd definitely like to come again. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleI had the kamo nanban. The noodles are thin and slide down smoothly, and the broth has a gentle, sweet flavor. The duck was in big pieces with a nice chew, and delicious!
View on GoogleSo lucky to find this super delicious soba shop! I ordered the duck noodles; adding pepper makes it taste even better One serving is just right for a girl, it'll fill you up; there's hot tea and also ice water The proprietress is super friendly, will definitely come again next time❤️
View on GoogleI want one in my neighborhood! The tsuyu is seasoned exactly the way I like it! The balance of dashi and sweetness was spot-on for someone from northern Kanto. A shop I'd like to stop by again whenever I'm in the area.
