I've had dinner here about twice. You can choose the spice level for the curry. I ordered the very spicy one, and it was delicious because the savory flavor of the spices really came through despite the heat. I love mutton curry and ordered it both times, and there was absolutely no gamey smell. The mutton curry a la carte was packed with chunks of mutton. The naan is chewy and quite large. Mutton curry a la carte + cheese naan + chai ¥1,600 2-choice curry set ¥1,500 (not pictured, but includes salad and a drink) Spinach paneer curry + mutton masala Spinach curry can be hit or miss at some places, but the spinach curry here was delicious. The tandoori chicken is also large, tender, and juicy. It's very filling and great value for money. Since this is a town with many elderly residents, I imagine it's tough for foreign cuisine, but I hope they keep at it~ I'm rooting for you.

For lunch take-away, there's a bento with naan, salad, chicken, and curry for 550 yen, which is very reasonable. I also went during dinner time; lassi is about 340 yen and chai is 250 yen, which is quite cheap, and they always provide a straw. There are about 10 types of curry. Sometimes whole spices or bay leaves are in it, so if you bite down hard, you might worry if you chipped a tooth, but the taste is delicious and it's packed with vegetables and meat. The naan is on the thinner side and has a strong wheat aroma. They also offer refills. The cheese naan was delicious, so next time I'll try the sweet naan!

A recently opened shop. I've been for lunch a few times. The characteristic of the curry here is that they use whole spices (not ground) directly in the curry, making it very aromatic. Those who find large spices like black cardamom in their curry for the first time might be surprised. Lunch starts from around 500 yen for a single curry, which is reasonable and easy to enter. Recommended for those who want to casually enjoy authentic curry nearby. Of course, you can choose between naan and rice. Set menus start from 750 yen and include all-you-can-eat naan/rice, a drink, and a salad. They seem to offer take-away as well. The butter chicken also has a strong spice profile and is unique. A shop that deserves a higher rating.

This is my second visit for lunch. Due to recent price hikes, it's a bit more expensive, but it's still a place with great value. The medium spicy level leaves a lingering heat, so don't forget to order a lassi. The refill naan is also large, so personally, I thought a half-size would have been better.

I ordered the curry set with 2 types of curry (this time bean curry and mixed vegetable curry) and changed the naan to cheese naan. It was voluminous and very delicious. Since I couldn't finish the cheese naan, I asked the staff to wrap it in aluminum foil so I could take it home. I think for people who can't eat a lot, knowing they can take it home provides peace of mind ☺️
