In our short stay in Shin-koiwa, we visited this restaurant everyday. The Mapo Ramen dish is spectacular, and the staff are very kind as well. It’s in a corner of a street and the restaurant itself is very cozy with a quick and efficient ordering table. Though there’s no English text option but that’s fair enough for a local restaurant. Overall an amazing restaurant id definitely swing by if I ever come to Tokyo again.

Edit 2024/05/03 After 5 years I went for dinner again. The place has not changed a lot but it has a online ordering system and also just like most Japanese restaurants it takes orders via a tablet pc. I wish they had English as an option but it only came with Japanese. But once you click ok on it it'll show you a photo. Prices have slightly gone up but that expected. Anyway I enjoyed the Chinese food again. I'm sure I'll come again in few years. ------------------------------------------------ 2019 Good Chinese food for affordable prices!

The miso ramen was so salty you almost couldn’t taste the old rotten meat, almost. The pasta was just one dense ball of pasta. Inedible. Worst soup I’ve eaten. Would not recommend to anyone.

It's pretty generic gyoza and fried rice. Worse than most places I've been too for sure, though it is VERY cheap. The highlight here is the drinks.
