This neighborhood Chinese restaurant is a 3-minute walk from Tateishi Station in Tokyo. It was near my workplace, but this was my first visit! It was a hot day with temperatures over 35℃ outside, so I started with the horoyoi set for a light bite. The gyoza are delicious♪ After that I ordered their specialty, the “miso tantanmen and half fried rice set”. The flavors are gentle overall and easy to enjoy. The kitchen's stainless steel surfaces were clean too, making for a pleasant meal. Thank you for the meal😋
View on Google■Ramen With medium-thick noodles and soup fragrant with Japanese-style stock, it tasted more like a ramen shop than a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It was reasonably tasty. ■Miso ramen Very light, tasting like miso soup with Chinese noodles in it. The vegetable toppings were boiled or microwaved, diluting the flavor even more. It was not very good. ■Half fried rice The ingredients are egg, chashu, and green onion. It is on the moist side.
View on GoogleI ordered the miso tantanmen and half fried rice set. The miso tantanmen tasted a little weak. I wanted more miso flavor. I think the noodles were good, but the soup was personally disappointing. The half fried rice was a little strongly seasoned, but it worked! I suspect there are tastier choices elsewhere on the menu. I will visit again.
View on GoogleIt was near the station, and I was feeling hungry〜 so I wandered in, and the miso tantanmen was incredibly delicious! Apparently it has been featured on TV too, and it really was a great find☺︎ The older owner was kind too, making this a heartwarming neighborhood Chinese restaurant! I want to go again〜!
View on GoogleThere were counter seats and tatami seating. I ordered medium-spicy miso tantanmen. Medium might not be enough for people who like spicy food. The noodles were chewy, just the way I like them. However, I ordered rice, and it smelled bad and was soggy. If I go again, I will not order rice. Perhaps because it was past lunchtime, there were no other customers when I arrived, so I could eat peacefully. Also, the owner seems hard of hearing, so you need to speak loudly when ordering.
