Cute restaurant near Mizumoto park. Perfect for Udon. The Kake udon and crispy tempura set was good option for 1350yen. Its quite peaceful and good taste.

I had the tomato egg udon. There was almost no aroma of dashi, and the ingredients were poor. There were only a few tomatoes, and I think 1,380 yen is too expensive. The udon is different from Sanuki udon. It was like handmade udon made at home. And it felt overcooked. The staff is nice but I won't be coming back.

I arrived right at opening time on Sunday. There were quite a few people waiting, but I managed to get a seat in the tatami area. Table seats are more popular, but the tatami seats had a view of something like a mini Japanese garden from the window, and the atmosphere was good. I ordered tenzaru, and my wife ordered vegetable udon. The tenzaru was delicious with lightly fried tempura and a dipping sauce that went well with the ginger. My wife's vegetable udon had a lot of hard parts of Chinese cabbage, so she felt they should improve it, but it wasn't particularly bad. I was impressed that it came with lemon. Some of the floor staff seemed very inexperienced (part-timers?), and while it was endearing, it was hindering the order processing, so I wanted to cheer them on!

I wanted to eat curry udon, so I came here after a long time. Sanuki udon with a rich menu! My heart wavered towards nabeyaki udon, but I shouldn't waver, so I ordered curry udon. It was brought out after a while. It looked thick and hot from the appearance, and when I slurped the udon, it was quite firm. And why is the curry at soba or udon shops so delicious? The dashi is well-utilized, and it contains onions, green onions, and chicken, which is very delicious. I finished it. Next time I want to try Sanuki udon bukkake. Thank you for the meal.
