※2024/12 Unfortunately, it has closed I visited right after opening on a weekday. I had no reservation, but there was only one reserved party, so I could get in. 4 tables. You can't see inside from outside, so at first glance it's a bit hard to walk in, but the interior is very calming. The staff were perhaps a married couple and their daughter, running it with 3 people. A very pleasant, wonderful atmosphere. The all-important food was a very delicious Milanese-style chicken cutlet. I also ordered the onion gratin soup, and it tasted amazing. I slightly regret not coming sooner. Next time I'm going to eat the beef stew!
View on GoogleEverything you eat is delicious❗️ The special steak that requires reservation several days in advance, and the fried shrimp with two big ones (the fried oyster on the side is a share from my wife 😃) are good too, but the top recommendation above all (no photo though) is the big, piping-hot chicken katsu topped with demi-glace sauce. Give it a try once. The side dishes escargot and mixed salad are also recommended.
View on GoogleA neighborhood Western-style restaurant run by a married couple. The dishes made by the owner, whose career embodies the saying "every person has a history," are all gems that are delicious and make you feel gentle at heart. A hidden gem of Kameari!
View on GoogleI visited inspired by the Futagoyama stable's YouTube, and it was such a good place that I wondered why I hadn't known about it sooner. Since starting work my days have been all eating out, but I feel like I ate something proper for the first time in a long while. Kameari isn't the hometown where I was born and raised, and even though it was my first visit, the atmosphere felt like it pulled my heart back home and put me at ease. It was a feeling I hadn't had in so long that I almost cried, realizing that properly made food can be this fulfilling. I went alone, but it wasn't tiring at all, so I plan to go regularly as a treat. This time I had the fried shrimp and hamburg steak set, and next time I think I'll try the chicken cutlet and onion gratin soup. For now I want to eat every item and decide on my favorite!
