Aoto Genghis Khan, since its founding in 1999, has been loved by the local community for many years as a Genghis Khan specialty store in downtown Tokyo. At the time of its founding, there were few Genghis Khan specialty stores in Tokyo, and Genghis Khan stores that could be visited casually were limited. Since around 2004, due to the influence of moving away from beef due to the BSE problem, the bird flu uproar, and the image that the fat content is lower than beef, a "Genghis Khan boom" occurred nationwide. New stores appeared one after another in Tokyo, and many customers also came to our store. From the founding to the Genghis Khan boom, to this day, we have consistently been committed to homemade Genghis sauce made by hand, and every day...

A very small restaurant with maybe 6 tables max but so worth it. We had the course that included yakiniku, shabu, and noodles to finish off the shabu shabu. It was all delicious, decent portions, and filling. The staff could tell it was our first time and explained how to cook it very early. The menu is only in Japanese but there is a little "how to order" page on the back with a bit of English and Korean. If anything just say "osusume onegaishimasu" or "ghengasukan course" for their most basic course meal. Highly recommend.

It was so delicious that I ate until my stomach was about to burst! I ordered the Genghis Khan and lamb shabu-shabu set, both have their merits.... It's hard to decide which is better. But from now on, I want to focus on one thing depending on the mood of the day. Because both make me want to eat more!

I received the special course. Genghis Khan and lamb shabu-shabu were each very delicious. I ordered ramen separately for the finish, but it was chewy and I ate it in an instant. Next time I want to try the steamed one.

A Genghis Khan shop with a downtown atmosphere. The inside of the shop is not spacious, but it is a safe shop with a very friendly and kind owner and landlady. When it was the first time, they also taught me how to grill. I also enjoy the meat. The number of seats is small and sometimes full, so I eat with the feeling of being lucky if it is empty☆!! I love the personality of the owner and landlady who are always kind (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

I went because it is a shop famous for Genghis Khan. Steaming to eat and shabu-shabu are rare.
