I felt like having some soba, so I ordered the large-sized zaru soba. It was incredibly delicious and satisfying. I wasn't familiar with the restaurant's system, so I was surprised when two servings of soba arrived with the large size. As a Japanese, I appreciate this clear and straightforward system, which brings back nostalgic memories. The thin soba noodles had a wonderful aroma and texture, and they tasted delicious. The generous variety of condiments provided, including green onions, yuzu, sesame seeds, and wasabi, allowed me to enjoy the soba with different flavors. The quantity of soba on two plates was plentiful, and I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied. Today, I had kakiage soba, and it was incredibly delicious. The soba here has a strong aroma and the thin noodles have a great texture. The batter and ingredients of the kakiage were perfectly fried. The onions in the kakiage were just the right size, offering a strong sweetness when bitten into. The combination of the warm broth with the kakiage and soba allowed me to enjoy a variety of flavors and aromas.
View on GoogleI've used this soba shop inside the station several times. The taste and staff are great with no complaints, but I'm taking off a lot of stars because of the shop's supplies. ・The cloth on each table smells half-dried every single time. It stinks. You use it to wipe up food spilled by previous customers, but it stinks every time. ・There are no paper towels For the reasons above, I'd really like them to provide them, both for after touching the cloth and for wiping your mouth after eating. Even if that raises costs and gets passed on to prices, a few dozen yen would be no problem. ・Depending on the season, there's a pretty high chance of fruit flies flying around. There are none in winter, but I've been seeing them more often heading into summer. If the above are improved, 4 stars.
View on GoogleA soba shop right inside the station ticket gates. Shops in places like this are so tasty, right~! Fast, cheap, and delicious! It's great that they have both counter seats and table seats😊 Hiyashi oroshi soba, 560円, I ate in😊 The meal ticket machine on the right only takes old bills and coins. The meal ticket machine on the left takes e-money and new bills P.S. I got my self-serve water, sat down at a table seat, and was called right away! 3 to 5 minutes (enough time to make cup ramen, or the time Ultraman can stay on Earth ← so fast~😆) Fast☺️👍 Love it😊 'Cause I'm impatient💦 The amount of soba was more than I expected too, I was surprised! The grated daikon was sweet and really delicious too😊👍
View on GoogleA standing soba shop inside the station where you can grab a casual meal, and it draws a lot of customers. I visited around 8 p.m. on a weekday in mid-R8.6. Since it's located inside Narimasu Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, there were about 10 customers ahead of me. If you show a platform ticket (electronic ones not accepted), you get one topping for free. I had the kakiage soba (500円). I bought it at the ticket machine, handed the ticket in at the counter, and it was served in about 1 minute. The broth has a base where you can fully taste the umami of bonito, finished light and refreshing with a mild soy kaeshi; it's pretty tasty. I couldn't taste mackerel or niboshi, but going with bonito dashi alone gives a clean, no-nonsense impression. The soba is thin, nihachi or with an even higher wheat ratio; the buckwheat feel is faint, but the wheat gives it volume. I think the noodle portion is also bigger than at other shops. The texture is good, but it was a shame I couldn't taste the buckwheat flavor. The toppings are kakiage and a fair amount of chopped green onion. The kakiage had onion, carrot, chopped green onion, red pickled ginger, and so on, but it wasn't freshly fried and wasn't thick enough, so it didn't leave an impression. The only tabletop condiment is shichimi. With two staff, serving is quick, but since it can take in over 30 customers, turnover may slow down when it's crowded. Thank you for the meal. The taste wasn't anything special, but I think being able to enjoy kakiage soba for 500円 is good value worth recognizing. It might be good for people who are short on time and want a simple meal on a reasonable budget.
View on GoogleStopped by during a break from work. I had the tempura soba🍜 The noodles are of a quality you wouldn't expect from a standing shop, and with the generous tempura, it's really satisfying. The thin soba here especially goes down smoothly and pairs perfectly with the rich tsuyu. 🚃Since it's right on the platform, I'm grateful I can enjoy an authentic bowl even when I'm busy.
