① Restaurant Features A ramen specialty shop along Kawagoe Kaido. Counter seating only, 8 seats. Medium or large portions of noodles are free; place the chip above the ticket machine along with your meal ticket. ② Food Review ◎ Salt Tsukemen The noodles' deliciousness really shines through. Thick, curly noodles with a satisfying springy texture and bite. The dipping broth has a mellow saltiness that perfectly complements the noodles' flavor. Adding chashu as a topping lets you fully enjoy the meat's deliciousness too.

Tried the shouyu ramen and it is good! The meat is sublime! It is so soft and it can melt in you mouth! The taste and balance is just nice! Noodle is quite good I guess. Just hope that they put in more strong flavour cause for my preference, I like strong flavour. Other than that, it is good!

A bowl in 下赤塚 that goes all in on sincerity. The owner trained at 麺や七彩, and the careful preparation reflecting that lineage left an impression. I visited around 11:30 on a weekday, with 2 customers already there, followed by a calm, gradual increase in arrivals. There is only counter seating, but the interior is fairly spacious and relaxing. Free medium and large portions are another welcome point. The 醤油らーめん has a good balance of chicken and seafood; nothing flashy, but a flavor that gently sinks in. Its gentleness makes it feel like something you could eat every day. The hand-massaged, medium-thick curly noodles have a chewy texture and a clear wheat flavor. They also come together nicely with the broth. There are 2 types of chashu, pork belly and shoulder loin, each delicious in its own way. Supporting ingredients such as thin menma and naruto are carefully handled too, making for a highly accomplished bowl overall. I passed on the signature 「テキーラらーめん」 this time, but even the regular menu is plenty satisfying. A place that feels sincere rather than flashy, and one I can see myself naturally returning to.

【Kitakata-style ramen with hearty, hand-massaged noodles】 This was my 2nd visit, and I've had both soy sauce and salt flavors. Both are very much to my taste. The hearty noodles that have now become trendy, served in light yet umami-packed Kitakata ramen, are addictive. Apparently the owner trained at 七彩, and the soup has a carefully crafted stock flavor. The free pork back-fat topping clings nicely to the rugged, chewy noodles, adding an indulgent junk-food quality that makes for a very satisfying bowl! The staff's service isn't bad either! Thanks for the meal!

Visited around 20:00 on 5/6 (Wednesday)! 🍜 Maybe the owner likes ゆず (the artist), because the place is full of ゆず merchandise! 🌟 There were celebrity autographs on display too 🖼️ The ramen was a little too salty and didn't quite suit my taste、、、 Large portions are free! 🌟 Take a chip from above the ticket machine and they'll make it a large 🍀 One thing to watch out for: don't forget to throw tissues and other rubbish in the bin under the washbasin or by the self-service water! I got told off for that by a female staff member, who became grumpy 😅
